Badlands

So I was never going to get this (and 15 others) properly written up, so I posted quick, tweet-length thoughts about some things that have needed reviewed for far too long:
Cassie takes over The Highway series and moves to a new Oil Town in North Dakota. Midwest Winter, Drugs, Murder, Corruption and Too Much Money wreak havoc on her first week on the job.

This was a really good story. I haven't read the previous books in this series, but I may check them out.

A touch gruesome but an edge-of-your-seat listen.
