Starting to wish that Max just got her happy ending.

A really fantastic follow-up to the intense And the Rest is History; understated but interesting with an amazing third act. Couldn't put it down!

I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this was no exception.
It is more upbeat than the previous book with more humor.
However, Max should have been able to figure out a way to get rescued without having to get lucky.
Earlier in the book a method to do this was explicitly shown to her.
So if you like these books, you'll like this one.
