This was a campy Christmas story. Some laughs, some spice, some cringe. Sort of preachy on some topics but not enough that I would recommend someone not read it.
It felt a little long. Like the same story could have been told in like, half the pages.

Imagine my surprise at picking this up because it looked like a cute romance to read over the holidays and the main character's a porn star. I really liked the set up and the main couple. It was unexpected but fun. Truthfully I like the first half better than the second, but I'm still looking forward to the next in the series.
This is everything I could've wanted in a holiday, romantic comedy: snappy, writing, funny, dialogue, an implausible set up that only makes the story richer, spicy sex positive spiciness, great character development and terrific audiobook narration.

This was the Lost in Romance Book Club pick for December and overall, I did end up liking it but not as much as I thought I would. This book definitely tackles diverse topics such as bipolar disorder and a curvy plus size female lead. I loved the inclusion of that, and I feel like it was handled well. This isn't something I've read before in the sense that the main female lead is a porn star. I wouldn't normally associate a porn star with a Christmas romance, but this worked. Several of the film crew members aside from Bea also work in the porn business and we get a few funny moments out of that. I liked Bea and Nolan together but there were some instances where they weren't communicating very well, and I hate lack of communication in books. That being said when they were communicating with each other it was perfect. I listened to audiobook of this which wasn't my favorite because I found myself cringing several times throughout because of how the narrator narrates certain scenes. It takes a lot for a romance book to make me cringe and I think had I been physically reading it this wouldn't have happened. Overall, this was an ok read that had me laughing and cringing at the same time.

I really enjoyed this! Super cute, fun, steamy and diverse.
It was a bit long so did start to drag a bit in the second half, but was easy enough to power through as the audio narrators (Sebastian York and Joy Nash) were great.
This book definitely took me by surprise in terms of the level of spice!! This book is certainly spicy and also did not disappoint in the cutesy romancey, innocent crush department as well. Anyway, Nolan & Bee's chemistry was spot-on and kept ME wanting more. I love love love that Bee is 1) an adult-film star that tackles a fru fru Christmas movie, and 2) that she is plus-sized! Yas to representation! I thoroughly enjoyed this light-hearted (and did I mention SPICY) read and would give it a 4/5 star rating!
There is a lot i loved about this book but it just didnt give me that 5 star feeling

It really isn't that bad y'all...
I thought it was cute despite the spicy scenes and it was also emotional in some aspects, but it is your regular-degular steamy Christmas romance.

This is a wonderful, funny and not too sweet Christmas read filled with lots of steam. I was laughing out loud every other page while reading this book, especially during the comedy of errors that leads to these two characters acting in a movie together.
