Good overview of key questions to ask yourself when evaluating a new business.
Although the content is very good, I feel that the authors pulled a lot of business topics together, and wanted to create a logical framework. However, my gut is telling me that that framework might miss essential business domains.
In other works, probably very good for novices, not so much for veterans.
The book reads really smooth, and it doesn't require your full attention.
A lot of the material used in the book originates from Bezos' speeches (which you can find on YouTube), though, and seems to be almost exactly quoted.
Kapil offers interesting reflections. I would recommend this book to those who want to spend an afternoon seeking for questions.
Great set of rules and examples. Would recommend to anyone, regardless of their role and background.
Extremely quick read about how to treat customers.
The content is very logical, but it's helpful to have a summary of ‘logical things'.
A book with more in it than you'd think.
It reads very difficult, and is sometimes quite repetitive.
I would recommend the book, though, and it won't harm to read it. It's a nice overview of questions and remarks to have in your pocket when dealing with customers.
