This was a great mystery-thriller. The characters were well written and the storyline kept you going. I only had an inkling near the end of who the killer might be. Mostly about the same time the characters were figuring it out. I'm going to have to go back and read the rest of the books in the series.

I've read almost all of John Sandford's Prey series, so was excited to read this book from him. Very different from his regular books.

This book sucked me in from the start and I couldn't put it down. I stayed up til 2am to finish reading it! The Storyline and characters grabbed you and didn't let go.

I enjoyed the book, but the changing points of view was constantly confusing to me. I finally noticed that at the beginning of a chapter, it would tell you whose point of view that chapter would be focused on. However, I rarely notice chapters when I'm reading, so it would take me a bit to catch up.

I loved this book! It was so nice to have a main psychic character who is well balanced and with a healthy happy family. Fran (ma the ghost) was a hoot and I loved every scene with her. She was helpful to her daughter, but also witty and sarcastic.

great book. now I'm going to have to and read the 1st 2 books in the series!

I always have a problem with anthologies, in that the stories are never long enough to be completely full filling for me. Some of the stories I'd never read any of the related books before and some I had. The book was ok for group of short stories. I prefer Ms Armstrong's full length books.

I got this book thru Amazon Kindle First Reads. I really enjoyed the book. To me it seemed as if it was a slightly different take on witches and vampires. The main character was intriguing and I definitely want to find out more about her and her twin sister's death.

This book was delightfully entertaining! I enjoyed the characters and the hints of humor throughout the book. The ghosts were enjoyable and only slightly scary. I raced thru this book and could barely put it down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

It's been a while since I've red an Eve Duncan book and I really should go back and catch up on the series. This was another enjoyable read. Good mystery and I love the characters.

I enjoyed this book. I had a little problem with some of the English slang, but for the most part could figure it out. The mystery was well written and enjoyable.

loved this book except for the constant point of view changes. There were so many and it would sometimes take me a minute to figure out who was talking.

Wow! what a great book. It's not a light read by any means, more along the lines of the Game of Thrones Series. Heavy on detail, but really well done.

I really enjoyed both books in this series and got totally lost in them. The cliffhanger at the end of book 2 has really left me wanting more.

This was a decent cozy mystery. The cast of characters were interesting. The facebook chats were difficult to read, but it could have been the kindle formatting. I enjoyed the story.

Wow, what a book! Though I originally thought it was going to a stalker book, the storyline turned to combine that with deaths and murders associated with a movie being made about murders that happened many years ago. I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline. A few of the recipes from the book would be nice to have too!

good read, not as good as her others though. if you don't like spiders, I don't recommend reading this book!

This was an enterntaining mystery thriller. Several twists kept the story line going and the ending was not quite what I expected.

This is the 4th book in the series and I think they just keep getting better. A great historical mystery with a bit of time travel leaving the main character, a modern police detective, stranded back in time in the body of a victorian woman. The adjustments she has to make to victorian sleuthing with her new group of friends and collegues are interesting. I've enjoyed all the books in the series and hope there will be more.
