I'm not sure I can properly review this book since it has apparently changed greatly since the reader review copy was issued. I think I read the original, which wasn't bad, but wasn't great. Would really like to read the finished copy that was published to see the difference.

I used to really like Brown's books, with the mix of present and past, but this one seemed to drag and I was just happy when it was finished. I enjoyed the historical aspects more than the present day timeline although they really both came together at the end.

I really enjoyed this book. The story line was intriguing and interesting. You knew who Jack was looking for from the start of the book, but didn't know why til the end. The things that people will do to others for money is scary and sad. Good book. Looking forward the next one in the series.

This was a difficult book to read and at the same time a fascinating read about Hitler's only women's only camp. What these women went thru to survive is just amazing. I stayed up all night to finish reading because I couldn't put it down.

I enjoyed the storyline, but didn't feel like the ending really explained anything. I did enjoy the forensic aspects of the story, but felt that they weren't fully developed. I wish the book could have just ignored the romantic suspense part and fully developed the mystery and the villain. The ending just left me wanting more, like not enough was explained. Overall not bad though.

I've read a lot of Lisa Scottoline's books but this one wasn't her best. The story didn't pick up til the last half of the book. I thought Griff was the best character and there wasn't as much of him as I would have liked to have seen.

This was a delightful cozy mystery. The characters were entertaining and the story kept me engrossed in the book. The behind the scenes look at theater life was also entertaining. I will be catching up on the other books in the series.

I didn't realize til after I'd finished reading this book, that it was the 16th!! in the series. I greatly enjoyed the mystery of the house and the story set in ancient England. I will be looking for the other books in the series.

I've read other books from Ms Brennan, but this is my first from her Max Revere series. I really enjoyed the book and the main character. Her partner and body guard made a good sounding board. I never figured out who did, so there was a surprise at the end for me.

This was another fun light read. So far I've only read the 1st and the last book in the series, but they have been entertaining, light, quick reads that I've enjoyed. Will have to catch up on the middle books.

this was a good collection of short stories, but it also reminded me of why I don't typically read short stories. There's not enough meat to each story. Each one left me wanting more, but it was overall a decent collection.

This book was disappointing to me, compared to Ms Jackson's other books. The I realized this was a reissue from 2000 and it kind of made sense. She's gotten much better over time.

Wow! I've loved Tess Gerritsen's other books, but this was a real thriller! The back and forth between present day and the past was at first confusing until the story lines came together. The twist at the end made perfect sense, even as other details coming to light were depressing to hear.

Another great book by Laura Griffin. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I thought the sex scenes were a little off, but really loved the mystery. I hope to read more from Ms Griffin.

Finally got to read the first book in this series and it was just as good as the second. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters, although I wished we had some more background on some of them.
