I really enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. The descriptions of the Coast to Coast walk and the inns really make me want to go there. And I enjoyed the story, if not all the characters. I'll be looking forward to the next one.

This book had a great storyline and neat twist at the end. The frustrating part was how the main character sometimes referred to herself. And the constant harping on being the only female homicide cop in the department.
this was a pretty good read.
This was an enjoyable historical cozy mystery featuring 4 female mystery writers who were actively writing during this time period. Their interactions and work to solve the murder were entertaining. I really enjoyed this book!

This book took forever to get going, probably because there were so many characters to build. Once the murders started happening, it really took off and the storyline was more interesting. I will say that I hate books that change the point of view with a chapter heading, because I don't see those when I'm reading. Then I'm struggling to figure out who is talking and am constantling having to back up and find it.
Over all, this was a good book.
thanks Netgalley for the ARC.
Very fun cozy mystery. I read it on a snowy afternoon. The characters were interesting and I could hope to find neighbors like Annie did when I retire! I couldn't tell if this would be a series, but I'll be on the lookout for the next book.

This book started slow and I almost put it down. Glad I didn't. It got much better as the twists and turns took you one way and then another. I read this in one evening!

Eerie Exhibits is a collection of 5 short stories all based in a museum. The 1st story was creepy enough that I put it down and read several other books before coming back to finish the others. The other 4 stories were not as creepy. It's not a bad read, just not enthralling.

So good! I really liked Annie, the main character. I enjoyed the descriptions of the Appalachian small town and really want to go to that bakery. A few twists and I didn't guess who did it. Great debut! Hopefully this is a series? I'll be looking forward to more!

DI Stone is dedicated to her job despite her family and her child, although the child almost seems like a throw away. The scenes involving her husband and child were short, and it always seems like she didn't think of the child at all. I mean you come home from work and immediately have some wine vs putting your child to bed and reading them a story? As a mother, wouldn't you set reminders for your child's events and when given an opportunity to attend, take them? I guess the child needed to be there to wrap up the storyline, but it almost seemed like she was a throwaway character.
The rest of the story was interesting and ended with decent wrap ups.

So my favorite character in this book and the one I would love to see more of is Essie. She wasn't the lead, but was so much more interesting than FBI agent Lana. The book really picked up about halfway thru with a few twists thrown in. I would read more from this author.

An enjoyable read that was slow to get going, but then kept my interest to the end. I'll be looking forward to the next book in the series.
I enjoyed this mystery with a touch of magic. The circus setting with some behind the scenes details and all the characters made it interesting. I also now want a large black panther following me around. I'll be looking forward to the next book in the series.

Easy to read mystery. I thought I had figured out who the murderer was, but didn't. When I have time, I'll try to go back and read the 1st books in the series. I didn't feel like I missed anything by not having read them though.

Another great book from Lisa Unger! I greatly enjoyed the mystery and the characters. The paranormal aspect was well written and loved the twist at the end.
wow, the story took forever to build and get moving. I almost stopped reading it. then it picked up speed and I stayed up til 2am to finish.
great collection of short stories involving vampires, werewolves, etc and wedding situations.
ugh, If I had to hear ‘I'm the Keeper' one more time.... I expected much more from Heather Graham.
couldn't get past the first few pages. very dry and uninteresting. way too much detail.
While I was happy to see Rincewind and his luggage back, this wasn't as good as others in the series.
very detail oriented. leaves your mind spinning from all the details. another great read!
