See allThoroughly enjoyed this but couldn't help but compare it to Walter Mosley's Easy Rawlins series – complete with a single-named, psychotic sidekick. Would have given this a four and a half if that were an option.
Good premise and (mostly) good delivery. This could have benefited from about 20 more pages to make for a better ending.
Definitely enjoyed this more than her last one, a great premise and handled (mostly) well. But the ending left me confused.
