This novel was both incredibly poetic and action-filled. It's a good dystopian stand-alone with a lot of mysteries and adventure. People who loved the TV show “Lost” would really enjoy this book.

The author describes her book as inappropriate and hilarious and that basically covers it! Make sure you have some Starbucks coffee to go with the book, or you'll end up with a major craving within a few chapters.

3.5 stars. Spooky and chilling, but also quite slow at times. Still though, I enjoyed reading this.

I'd choose the blue house, I think. It seemed like a place I could be happy in. Second place: red or purple. Never green. Never ever green.

Wow, it took a while but I finally finished this book. I never felt quite engaged whilst reading it, but I can't exactly pinpoint why that was the case...

At first I was a bit underwhelmed with this, but then we got to the SAS field trip part and I was completely hooked. That part and what followed was so good and fast-paced, I loved it.

// Review from first time reading // I'm pretty sure I enjoyed this more because I've already watched the anime. If I hadn't I might've found it a bit underdeveloped and fanservice-y. I did with the first episode of the show as well. But it gets better!
