This book is so cool. Carlo Rovelli is so passionate about physics and it comes across in nearly every word in this book. The tone of the book is excited, and Carlo can't help but suck you in. This one is written for novice, was easy to follow, not too wordy, and frankly I took away so much information on where Physics began as well as where its headed. I'm really eager to read his book 7 Brief Lessons on Physics as well as any other works he plans to publish. Kudos.
Great, easy read. I've read a lot about mindfulness in the last year amd I found it most deftly written for beginners. easy to understand and put into practice.
I highly enjoyed this book! The story was enjoyable, and it was filled with compelling information. I could not absorb it fast enough.
Holy monkey this book was intense. I was left slack jawed and amazed at this ending!! I still can't believe it.
Great for lovers of the Hunger Games and Maze Runner. Unfortunately for me though my ride ends here. I am so angry at how this one ended that I dont think I have it in me to continue. But we'll see.
Remarkable read. It felt as though she reached into my soul and poured my own heart onto the paper. She spoke so much, whilst saying so very little. This one is definitely a keeper.
Ok I really enjoyed ‘listening' to this book. It was fascinating and informative, but seriously there is a reason tons of authors dont read their own stuff... This author was so passionate about his work that it was like he was yelling it at you. Seriously.
This book is stunning! The author/artist Alessandro Sanna takes you on a trip through the 4 seasons in this beautiful watercolored graphic novel. Read this. Trust me you won't be disappointed!
I really enjoyed the mystery in this one. It's a definite cringe-worthy read, full of horror and betrayal. I couldn't believe some of the things I read, and yet believe in its truth. Murder for money, I wish I could believe that it wasn't the fact that the Osage were American(ized) Indians, and that it was purely for financial gain that hundreds were slaughtered for their oil rights, but let us be honest...If they hadn't been Indian, if they hadn't been thought to be less than human, than perhaps...
Love this series! The artistry is beautiful, the story enchanting, and the music makes it all!

This book puts the lol in “laugh out loud”...I couldn't contain myself. Mr. Kelly is such a story-teller. Simply great! I'm looking forward to hearing so much more..
Full of monochromatic photography and stylized prose, Lavender is the heart on paper.
This one is a must read for any book lover. Not only does it have the beautiful backdrop of Scotland, but is tremdously original in concept and delivery. I am always hesitant when it comes to books of this nature, but the mystery in this one cemented it all together for me. Utterly delightful, even though I'm prone to wanting to tear apart the logic behind the ending. Que sera.
3.5 Love a book that keeps you thinking and stays with you when it's done. Just dont know what it is about this one, if it's the creep factor, or that you really don't ‘get' what you just read. Gonna ponda this a while...
Incredibly creepy, twisted, well written, but in all honesty about 150pgs too long....
Creepy. This short story about a woman's slow descent into insanity is captivating. I couldn't tear myself away, had half expected her to commit suicide...
The wallpaper itself was more a metaphor for feeling caged...but the slow study of it throughout story gets so engrained in this woman's day to day and her descent is so slow you feel tourself slipping away with her.. Spine tingling doesn't cover it...it caresses your spine with constant chills..
This read wasn't at all like I had expected. I had expected a different kind of intensity, the kind of physical exertion, of being prey to some killer... The intensity in this book was more of a reflective intensity, the kind of intensity that comes from knowing, seeking, and eventually finding. The traces of guilt flowed through this one like streams into rivers, guilt for seeing what you shouldn't, guilt for doing what you shouldn't, as well as guilt for doing nothing. I especially liked and respected the main characters both Evie and Gabriel, their relationship or lack thereof was one of understanding and principles, these were faith-based people, people I respected. I enjoyed the bits where Evie was able to detach herself from cases and still find laughter in the every day, and also how Gabriel seemed to understand Evie and stay distanced while still encouraging her progress. Overall, I am really looking forward to starting the next in the series soon.
This made me so sad for the state of the world, its truth is poignant, and as she warns you in the start, it's time for some self care.
This book has earned a solid 3 star rating. It's fast paced, adventurous, and completely unbelievable. For the first half of the book I actually dislike Lo Blacklock A LOT...she was annoying - didn't come across as a believable journalist even after that so called burglarly that inexplicably drove her for the remainder of the book...to me she was damn flake and annoying. I was more concerned with the disapearance of the woman in cabin 10 than with the woman who was suffering from anxiety and ptsd.. Those last 100 pages or so.. when everything started coming together.. those were worth it... no matter how convoluted this story got, no matter how ridiculous this story was as it unraveled...those pages made the read worth it.
Ms Young uses an impressive vocabulary in her poetry the does much to enhance your visual understanding...well done.
this was so much more than i ever anticipated, and i simply don't have the words to tell you how unforgettable this book is
This movie haunted my youth, I can't imagine what possessed me to start reading it... It was free I suppose, and my brain went WTH... It was quite dated, and a bit longer than it needed to be, but overall it was excellent. I will never get some of these images out of my head....
