4.5 stars. Not as good as the original books, but still very strong characters and a steady plot.
3.5 stars. Most of the stories were interesting, but I found that he expanded more on the ones that I already knew most of it.
The main character was interesting, but they never developed any of the others. The plot was very predictable.
Some essays were good. Most were just okay. Books rarely do well for me when they are a bunch of essays and this was no exception. I didn't finish.
Sarah Dessen writes clear, believable characters. Never once is there behavior that one cannot picture in a teenager or an adult.
Scarlett and Halley share a love that is deep enough to withstand trials.
A great read.
An intriguing look into the strange world of food critics. Strong narrative and interesting writing.
3.5 stars. I expected a little sci-fi, but still well-developed and likable characters.
A good book. The subject matter is very interesting and the characters are fully developed and strong.
4.5 stars. Little light on what the actual Jeopardy experience was, but hit upon all types of trivia culture.
Sad in some parts, but ultimately a nice conclusion to the series. I could have read another hundred pages though.
An excellent book. The realistic portrayal of both the situation and the people made this book feel genuine, without being preachy.
3.5 stars. Not nearly as good as the first one, but still fast paced and well written.
An interesting sci-fi look at a coming-of-age story in a future where abortion is illegal, until the kid is 13.
Good, interesting characters.
It would be so easy for this book to be judgmental, but the author/narrator does a very good job of not judging and of helping.
An interesting read about the state of food in the US.
It feels a little pushed and basic. I predicted what would happen as soon as all of the characters were involved.
