A lovely comfort read, perfect for curling up with on a chilly autumn night.
Made me want to book a cruise!
Loved the main character, Ketty, and the secondary characters (her table-mates on her cruise) are an interesting mix.
I don't usually read historicals but I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Loved the Singapore setting of the time and the accurate details.
Harriet Gordon is such a strong character, I'm looking forward to further adventures with her, Inspector Robert Curran and an interesting array of secondary characters.
I also liked how the mystery unfolded.
The entire book had a hint of Agatha Christie about it, and I devoured her books when I was younger.
Bring on book 2!
Devoured this in a day.
The perfect read that once you pick up you won't want to put down.
3 interwoven stories of 3 strong women: Jess, her daughter Jamie, and her grand-daughter CJ.
The book covers heart-rending topics: the Vietnam war, teen self-harm and suicide.
I curled up with this page-turning story and sighed with happiness when I finished it.
Love Tess's books!
Compulsive reading.
Picking all the twists (except the last one!) didn't diminish my enjoyment of this one.
A great page-turner.
Thoroughly enjoyed this page-turning tale of Rosie, Maggie and Brie, three women facing challenges over the decades and set in cosmopolitan Kings Cross, Sydney.
I enjoyed reading about Gralice, Sappho and Ged, three generations of women whose choices have far-reaching consequences.
Gralice is a stand-out character with her strength and humour.
A wonderfully poignant story that had me curled up on the couch turning pages rapidly to finish it.
A dual timeline story told from three POVs: Grace, Beth and MaryAnne, covering relevant and heartbreaking topics that affected women across the years.
A lovely story of family, support and learning to depend on those we love.
Recommend!
One of the perils of being a writer is picking all the twists in a story way too early and it's what I usually do. While I did in this story it didn't diminish my enjoyment and I wanted to see how the lives of Libby and her husband Nick, her best friend Jess, and Libby's twin Alice's lives played out.
A fun read with a quirky cast set in Australia's Whitsunday islands.
Amy and Josh's dads are getting married, which is complicated considering their feelings for each other!
Harry is Amy's cousin who falls for a jilted bridge.
Lots of misunderstandings and mayhem ensue at this island wedding and beyond!
Not many books make me cry but this one did.
Harper, a radio presenter, is married to Samuel, a successful lawyer. They lead a charmed life in Sydney but don't want kids.
So when a childless couple, Jasper and Claire, want children, Harper donates an egg.
What happens next is an emotional roller coaster of a ride.
Thoroughly enjoyed.

With my own deadlines, how fast I read this is indicative of how much I enjoyed it.
First up, I'm not a fan of the amnesia trope and don't usually read them, but I love anything Amy Andrews writes so I gave this a go and I wasn't disappointed!
Amy writes steamy romance, with incredibly sexy, strong heroes who meet their match in equally strong women. And I love her dialogue.
Logan Knight is a sexy firefighter, Bella is the woman who broke his heart years ago but can't remember following an accident that almost claimed her life.
Loved this!
Loved the whole road trip plot, with Joy following her sister Judy's bucket list.
Dylan made the book for me. Swoon!
Reading 2 Amy Andrews back to back is a guaranteed treat.
This one is set on a cruise ship and I am so there!
Ari is a Greek billionaire undercover on his ship, Kelsey works as a waitress on the ship.
Sparks fly!
This is one very steamy read!!!
I can usually pick plot twists a mile away so I loved how this one kept throwing me off track!
I was right about a few secrets but overall, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to discover how this would pan out.
Iris's husband Will dies in a plane crash. But he was on the wrong plane, heading for Seattle rather than Orlando. As Iris unravels the mystery surrounding her adored husband's past, we're sucked into this story.
And the ending on the last page...did NOT see that coming!
It has been many years since I've read a Harlequin Desire and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read Robin Covington's first.
Adam Redhawk is a powerful and proud CEO of his own company in Silicon Valley.
Tess is his PI but soon becomes much more as their attraction is undeniable.
With revenge, passion and family at the heart of this novel, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And I'm looking forward to reading Justin (Adam's business partner) and Sarina's (Adam's sister he's only just found after many years) story in the next book!
I love anything Kelly Hunter writes and this is no exception.
Read this so fast, wished it was longer.
Love her characterisation.
Eve and Leah are identical twins.
Eve is superficial and glamorous, with the perfect husband in Sean and gorgeous 7 year old twins.
Leah is sweet but at 35, something is missing in her life.
I can't say much without giving away the plot but I picked the twist early on but it didn't diminish my enjoyment one bit, as I had to keep turning pages to see how the story panned out.
A definite page turner!
Warm women's fiction novel set on beautiful Maui.
I love how the customs of Hawaii were highlighted throughout and the heroine ultimately learned the value of family.
Heartwarming.
I recently discovered Kimberly Belle and have read 3 of her books in a few weeks.
This one is my favourite so far!
I devoured this in a day, it's that much of a page-turner.
An occupational hazard of being a thriller writer is picking plot twists early but that didn't diminish my enjoyment of this story one iota. If anything I turned the pages faster to discover how it would play out.
Beth is a kickass heroine that is just brilliant.
Loved all the twists and turns!
Recommend.
A tender, heartwarming tale of second chances and friendship in unexpected places. Dog lovers will adore seeing the story unfold through Duke's, the gorgeous canine, eyes.
I can't rave enough about this book.
Read it almost in one sitting, couldn't put it down.
A beautifully told story about a family dealing with ‘an unusual boy'.
Jackson is an 11 year old who's neurodiverse. He's adorable and steals the show.
But when he's embroiled in an unfortunate situation in the toilets at school with a younger student, my heart broke.
To see the story unfold is just wonderful.
Absolutely loved it.
Was lucky enough to get an ARC of this from my publisher and despite my heavy deadlines, I devoured it.
One of those wonderful books you don't want to put down.
It's a lovely tale of self-discovery for mother and daughter, Flick and Zoe, in the vibrant city of New Orleans.
Rachael Johns brings the magical city alive, immersing the reader.
The romance between Flick and Theo is lovely.
We need Zoe's story next please!
A thoroughly enjoyable read.
