hello my favourite trope, characters not talking with each other!
pacing at the beginning kinda threw me off, but overall still enjoyabe enough.
but. Dear author. Did you really had to name a character “Hello”?

the only thing I remembered about this book was the fact I read it. That's it. How could I forget the utter delight that is Nirupam Singh is beyond me.

so many marvelous fleshed out characters, and of course I vibe the most with episodic all in white ambassador from Evil Empire Next Door.

I should have liked it more.
at first I thought it was main character. That I have to literally push through text because I don't find her interesting. But then, about halfway through, I suddenly flew, and it was great! Until chapter 35, which felt like watching unnecessary long action and explosion sequence in a movie.
The pacing murdered this book for me and I am sad, because there are bits I really like! Alas.
