I enjoyed this book. Long, but enjoyable. However, I felt like it was more political intrigued, and less fantasy ... things, like the magic system, I mean there is magic, but no magical things happening, sometimes I forget that I'm reading an epic fantasy. And the END... I did not like it all, I hope it was different, but I'll accept it.
Book #8 of 2023
If I read it my teens or in my early twenties, I might have liked it more. However, I enjoyed it. I needed something light to read, and this one delivered, it was better than the previous one. The writing changed a bit, Juliette was somehow less annoying and we got more of Warner and less of Adam. Some stuff happened that bothered me, but i kept telling myself that, it is a YA so ... get ever it. 3 Stars

The Plot: Jak, Jadora and Malek travels through the portal in search of the longevity plant their king demands, only this time, more allies are joining the hunt. But all Jack wants is to find the elder dragons.
I'm having confused feelings, this series started really good and interesting, you have dragons, war, magic and powerful mages, everything i love. But now it's going very slow and ... repetitive, i even dropped it for some time. Plus alot things happened in this book that I didn't like, I'm scared to pick the next one.
Not like the previous books I have read by the author. However, it gave me Outlast vibes. So I liked it.
I have never read Brandon Sanderson before. So this was my first book that I read, and as a beginner, I searched on how to read the cosemer series and his work in general. Many people, Brandon included, recommended to start with Elantris.
But also some said that this was his first novel and it's the weakest. So I was kind of afraid to start it and no liking it and not liking his work.
But ...
WHAT THE ACTUAL FREAK. This was SO GREAT I LOVED IT MORE THEN I EXCPECTED. If this was his weakest work, then how is his strongest work?!
Well done
another amazing book by the author, Freida McFadden.
it was surprising, twisty, unpredictable and unputdownable. thought i didn't like the ending very much, i wish it was different. but the rest is ...
4.5 STARS.
I ... sadly, couldn't finish this book. So this where my journey ends. I liked the plot, the beginning was strong, it really grabbed me, I wanted to know what it's going to happen next, then ... it got so slow. It lost the thriller and the suspense that I liked in the first part of the book. I really want to finish it, but just thinking about, makes me feel tired. DNFed @40%
Sam's character sounded really interesting, I wish if the book was focused more on him and less on Adeline, his daughter. I wanted to know more about him. Some stories works better if they were longer, and this book is one of them. In my opinion, it'd be better if it was a series.
However , a fun read,
THAT TWIST THOUGHT, I DIDN'T SEE it coming, and I really loved it, it was unpredictable, especially after thinking that the case is closed, and they caught who did it, I must say that there were some sprinkles of hints from the begging, but it wasn't that obvious. I love it when you have to keep reading till the end to know the truth. it 100% was worth it.
I can't believe this is the last book of Devlin and Falco series, which means we won't be seeing them again, they will be missed for sure
Thank you for this crazy ride full with twists and mysteries.
This was my first book of Lindsay Buroker work, it was little slow in the beginning, however it gained its paced later on. It has amusing characters and wonderful world building which I really liked. I am happy to have read it and I look forward to the next and how the story proceeds!
I have mixed feelings about this one, I liked the military setup, most of this book is about the MC and his team training and really liked that, in my opinion it was realistic. But what I didn't like is the characters, some were okay, some were dull, I didn't care about most of them and no world building, I almost dnfed it, but i forced myself and finished it, and I must say the last pages made it slightly better plus the plot twist. So I'm giving this series a chance by reading the sequel and see if its worth finishing or not.

I have mixed feelings about Girl, Alone. Some parts were good but a lot of parts were ... Meh.... However, it did manage to freak me out. I mean crimes and serial killers novels are fun and games, until the authors start dropping real serial killers names, and what they did.
OMG!! YESS 100% YESS. Of all the books I have read so far, this one is the best and OMG.. my heart is filled with joy and happiness right now. I love Wesley so much...
The book is about Sharon Lemke, who was out on her patio watching a lunar eclipse, late one night, then she noticed a little child washing dishes in the kitchen of her the neighbors who don't have a child that young. So she thought she might imagined it, then an eighteen-year-old Niki who has recently aged out of the foster care system comes to live with her,
Sharon's concerns become shared. Time passed since that night and the clues are pinging Niki's internal radar system. She isn't willing to leave things to chance if there is a child who may be at risk. Together they try to reveal the neighbors's lies about the little child and save her.
For me it was kind of slow, predictable, no action, and no twists. Nothing kept me question and guessing, though the book has hit ratings and good reviews (that's why picked it) and I do love reading mystery thrillers, but it didn't live to my expectation.
Another unexpected book by the author, Frieda McFadden.
Sun Tzu is credited with the phrase “Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer.” but what if your worst enemy is your closest friend
Bit slow at the beginning. But, it's book 1 in the series so I won't go hard at it. However, it gave me Mass Effect ( my fav game ever) vibes. So .... I Liked it.
This was so goooooood.. I freaking love the family... cant wait ti finish the rest... AND CANT WAIT FOR THE ANIME Adaptation 5/5

Review:
I didn't love this book that much, the beginning was a bit slow and the plot twist was not very satisfactory to me, it felt out of nowhere. But, i didn't hate it. I enjoyed reading the last part, things escalated very fast. So yeah, I liked it.
“ But you still haven't said you love me.” “That's not true.” “You haven't.” “I say it all the time, I just say it very, very quietly. I tell you when you're in another room, or right after we hang up the phone. I tell you when you've got headphones on. I say it after you shut the door behind you. I say it in my head every time you look at me.”
WHAT A JOURNEY!!!! I enjoyed this one a lot.
the plot is soo simple , but soo dark and disturbing when you think about it, like using Reni at a young age as a bait to lure women to their deaths!!! Being a daughter of serial killer!!! Danial looking for his mother for 30 YEARS without finding her ...
I cant wait for the next book... I hope Danial gets the closure that he deserves
