I absolutely loved this book! I Originally did not think this book would be as good as the first but I was terribly wrong because I thought this book was amazing. I LOVED the ending, it was so sweet. I definitely think this book I better than the first. I enjoyed the first one but not as much as I ended up enjoying this one. By the end of the book I had a huge smile on my face and was as giddy as a school girl.
I really don't know how I feel about this book... My brother got me it for Christmas and I finished it in am afternoon, however, it definitely lacked some substance. I think that it could have potentially been a good novel, however, they should have worked longer on developing the story.
I don't know why I love this book so much! I just do. I really enjoyed it! I actually picked this book up at the book shop by complete accident, I had went there looking for a particular book and ending up finding this one instead and I'm sure glad I did. I just loved it! It had me giggling like a little girl and I think I was going completely mental after finishing this book, I was just so happy about it. The only thing I really didn't like is the fact that the ending dragged on just a bit but other then that it was a truly wonderful read.

However, I do wish there was more world building and more action. This book is quite long and not a lot happens. That being said, it was a fun read and I really enjoyed Charlotte and Evan's POV's and love story.

This book has a lot of world building and I was a bit confused at first, but the glossary at the back of the book really helped. Now, I am so invested in this world and can't wait to see how issues get resolved.
I highly recommend if you like fantasy with lots of action, rich world-building , interesting political/ magical system, great characters, betrayal, slow-burn romance, forced proximity and third-person POVS.
