I'm just a 21st century woman reading an 19th century novel

Honey, Honey, how you thrill me!

I LOVE GOSSIP

This book is knot for the faint of heart...hehehehehehe

How is it two days till Christmas and I haven't watched A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong yet?

This book has cured me in so many ways!!! Seriously I had no idea what I was getting into and thought it would be another Taylor Jenkins Reid book I would find okay but this was a masterpiece to me!!!

I thought there was supposed to be smut in these books

I cant with this book! ANNA AND ELSA!!! Legit read the book because it was a short mindless read and was behind in my reading goals

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Wait, you're telling me they were in Georgia and went to IHOP instead of Waffle House?!? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

You can really tell Shakespeare was in his mid-life crisis when writing this one. Also, we should be concerned about the relationship he had with his daughters

Lillian Smith my beloved!!!

I know that after reading this book I'm still incapable of cooking, but I at least had a sexual reawakening hearing Stanley Tucci read aloud pasta recipes.

She had to vomit because she's pregnant with some crazy toxic dudes baby, I had to vomit because of how bad the book was.

I want to smoke the biggest fattest blunt with this man

I love Reese so much! This reminded me so much of home. I will say though this isn't the book for the Yankees. I think it would only make them double down on this monolithic view of the south and southern women.

UGHHHH! They mentioned a Sense and Sensibility quote and I was a goner!!!

It just wasn't great. I know it's co-written by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes but it didn't feel like a Bridgerton universe story. I also wished they pressed for people to watch the show then read the book; it was more of a regression of the Queen Charlotte story than progression.

My review in annotations: 8 Shakespeare references, 11 needs therapy, 9 umm..., 4 WTF, 10 F@&k/Damn, 10 LOL, 4 Eww, 3 True, 6 Okay..., 4 Sir..., 1 Holy f$&king S@!t, and 1 okay, I'm in tears.

The Mother, the daughter, and the Holy Margaret Atwood!!!

Y'all I need season three on a biblical level. Also how the hell did I read this book the first time and thought Colin sucked ass. He may be on of the best Bridgeton Bros
