ছন্দে ছন্দে লেখনী! বাহ। অন্য বই গুলো পড়ে দেখার ইচ্ছা প্রবল হয়েছে।

বেগ-বাস্টার্ড সিরিজের ৭ম বই “কন্ট্রাক্ট” পড়া শুরু করেছি সকাল থেকে। এখন আছি ২৫-২৬ পৃষ্ঠায়। সামনে কি লিখা আছে একটু বিরতি দিয়ে পড়তে চাই।

কন্ট্রাক্ট বইতে ঘটনাটা আসছে এইভাবে। “মনে হয় না, স্যার। মেয়েরটার বড় বোন যা বলেছে, অন্যকিছু মনে হচ্ছে।” ......... “এই মেয়ে জাহান গ্রুপের সিইও'র প্রেমিকা... কী নাকি ঝামেলা চলছিল ক-দিন ধরে।”
ম্মম্ম, বলেন তো দেখি কোন কুতুবের ঘটনাকে ইঙ্গিত করা হচ্ছে এখানে? ২০২১ সালের ছেপ্টেম্বর মাসে ঘটছিল ঘটনা, আরো বইলা দেই ৬ তারিখের পত্রিকায় আইছিল।

পথিমধ্যে বাবা-মা হারিয়ে অনিক যখন অকুল পাথারে, হৃদি ঠুস করে বিয়ে করে ফেলল প্রতিষ্ঠিত ছেলেকে, চলে গেল বার্লিন মধুচন্দ্রিমায়। গিয়েই উপলব্ধি করতে পারলো ফাটা বাঁশের চিপায় পরে গেছে। ব্যথায় আওয়াজ করতে পারে না, কষ্ট তেব্র। তেব্র এই যন্ত্রণার নাম “প্রিয়তম অসুখ সে”।

আগে ভাবতাম সাদাত সাব ত্যাঁনা প্যাঁচায়, পরে দেখলাম নাহ মোহাম্মদ নাজিম উদ্দিন এই কাতারে আছে। আমার ধারনা ছিল ভুল, ইল্মা বেহ্রুজ হচ্ছে সবার লর্ড। ত্যাঁনা প্যাঁচাইয়া তিল কে তাল বানায় নাই, কুমড়া বানাই ফেলসে।

ভাল বই খারাপ বই বলে কিছু নেই, সব কিছু থেকেই আমরা জ্ঞান আহরণ করতে পারি। তাহলে আমরা এর থেকে আমরা কি শিখতে পারলাম? মাঝে মাঝে হাবিজাবি না পড়লে ভাল বইয়ের গুরুত্ব বুঝা যাবে না।
সব কিছু ছাপিয়ে কেন জানি মনে হয়েছে, রকমারি + ফেসবুকের গুণ কীর্তন ট্যাকা দিয়ে কেনা হয়েছে, goodreads এ এর প্রভাব পরবে না বলেই আশা করি।
প্রশ্ন হতে পারে আমি কি পুরো বইটা শেষ করেছি? জ্বি না, ৪২% শেষ করেছি। নতুন লেখিকা হিসেবে ২২% বেশি পড়েছি, সাধারণত কোন বইয়ের ২০% পড়েও ভাল না লাগলে সে বই শেষ করি না।
আমি নজ্রুল পড়েও দেখছি, রবি ঠাকুর পড়েও দেখেছি, বেহ্রুজ ও পড়ে দেখলাম, শান্তি শুধু সাবিতা ভাবী পড়ায়।

হুম, সময় হত্যার জন্য ভাল বই। রোমান/গ্রিক দেবতাদের নিয়ে লেখা বই এমনিতেও ভাল হয়।
আমাদের নিত্যদিনের দেখা পরিবেশের বাহিরেও আরেকটা জগত আছে। কেউ তো ইচ্ছা করে শয়তানের সাথে দেখা করতে চাইবে না। 😌
I'm not used to read English novel or story but once my course instructor recommended this book. After reading, I realize this book is all about our “society condition”. He used animal as metaphor. I enjoyed this book.

I guess this is the first book I have read on climate change. Not that I have no interest but the country I live in currently offers very few incentives for green energy* where there are more important issues to consider like Primary education, health care, and politics, etc. *Few people are so concerned about Mr. gates's Carbon footprint. Ladies and Gentlemen, grow up. If you don't climb the ladder to the top position, and along the way you intentionally and unintentionally leave your carbon footprintbehind, no one is willing to hear your words.
