the all powerful protagonist who is an almost invincible alien who wants to play private detective on earth to redeem himself and who is also the guy that gets all the girls fawning for him... Mary sue...
still it was a fast paced and entertaining read, weird
Every once in a while I really want to read a nice space opera... this one delivers with space ships, aliens, wormholes, conspiracies, robots and more.
An entertaining retelling of the stories I already loved from numerous other times I've heard and read them. Also they are a lot easier to read in modern English
As expected, it was a fun read filled with daring deeds, heroic heroines and heroes... and cats
I abandoned this book after a few chapters. It is as if the writer wrote down the outline and forgot to fill in the characters, so everything seems flat and one dimensional to me.
I loved all the little nerdy details and shout-outs to the memes that obviously should be in a book titled rule 34
okay.. the story progresses linearly upwards.. and ends with a big bang
and then it's not about a man who is tying the loose ends in his life anymore, but about someone whose world made sense once
The book really tries to be a 1984 for the Facebook/Google world, but somehow it is a little too much a retelling of it.
wow
the stories were a lot darker than I usually read, but the writing is amazing and gripping
