Really clever and I feel it was on par with, maybe slightly better than, The Martian. Love that the science is as accurate as it can be.
Started off great. Ended up feeling a bit repetitive and a slog to finish. Writing style is great though.
Think I've found my favourite author. Dark Matter was very gripping, I couldn't put it down.
This one even more so. I loved it.
Good but very american. What he states is solid advice and everything should take onboard. Just a bit too many stories of Iraq for me.
Meh. I get how this could be interesting - especially after reading the true story behind it. But it's a story about a cat fighting a devil, I don't get the deeper meaning behind it if there is one? I don't think there is so it's just a bit boring, and short
Very short but brilliantly written. Very creative and emotional.
Merged review:
Very short but brilliantly written. Very creative and emotional.
Easy to read and very accessible. Very funny, emotional and geeky.
Couldn't help but keep picturing Matt Damon though.
It's a book of battle tactics. There are some bits relevant to modern day life - most of it is common sense. And all of it can be gathered from better books anyways.
