This arc was not my favorite, maybe a bit above the 2nd arc but it's still warrior cats and they have a way of making things interesting, or not depending on the book.
Beautiful, beautiful children's book. I remember crying about this thinking about my own mom as a kid. I really recommend it to little ones.
I liked it a lot more than I thought I would at the start! For some reason, I was put off by the actions of these rich girls and guy, by the end I thought the characters were definitely my favorite part. That doesn't mean they're very likeable though.
Lovely book, I remember this book fondly reading it as a kid in 4th grade. It was my favorite teacher, and I loved it. It was dark, hopeful, but it had a lot of symbolism that she kept us interested in.
Kate DiCamillo has a way of making things fun to read while every word you read can be depressing, hopeful or both at once. I'm always happy reading her books. And although this book depressed me at turns, having someone like my teachers who pointed out every great thing about the writing is great.
Loved this one. Recommended to me and I was very delicate at first with it, it had a lot of colonialism and racism, if you can get through that it's a beautiful book, and spoke to my own struggles with giving in and feeling sad and all that. A classic.
Loved this book as a kid, and love it now. There's nothing better than reading books about animal companions, and how more often than not it's better to let nature run its course.
This was my favorite of the Broken code arc, it might be the very cool descriptions of literal cat hell.
