See allHonestly... my favorite book out of all four! Maybe the first ties with it. Wonderfully written and love the characters and development.
A wonderful book series I read when I was a tween and felt like I could relate to Kale and her journey. It's been years and the story is a bit fuzzy but I remember the adventure was exciting and meaningful.
This book was a birthday gift and I started reading it out of boredom one day. I was not ready for this emotional roller coaster. This book will always have a special place in my heart and showed me the gift of good story telling in the perspective of an adorable dog. So good!
The storyline was very intriguing and had me coming back to read the book. I kind of had an idea of where it was going but wanted to find out anyway (maybe a part of me wanted to see Nora live it through and finish her story... hopefully). Although the message was quite clear to the reader, I appreciated the continued epiphanies and discoveries by Nora that was beautifully expressed. I think we all wonder what would happen if we could choose different lives and I felt myself reflecting on my own dreams and wonderment. The book helped Nora and the reader land on the best conclusion...”we don't have to do everything to be everything, because we are already infinite”
This is one of the first series as a teenager (2008) that I rented from my nearby library and was obsessed with. Life went on and I forgot about the series but never forgot the story. Finally, during 2020 shut down, I had time to get back into reading and hunted down this series based off of fickle memory and images I could recall in my head and googled the heck out of it. Finally, I found it and I reread this first book entirely and it was JUST as exciting as it was back then. Can't wait to continue the series again!
