Very repetitive but has some good recommendations regarding feedback/clear goals and body language. Some parts seem like an advertisement.
Very well written and informative. Thought chapter 18 was a little out of place but overall loved it.
1/2 cute story and 1/2 debilitating mental illness. Has some flaws but is enjoyable. Can't wait to watch the movie!
Scary & a little confusing, but overall unhinged in a good way. Definitely has multiple possible interpretations.
Pushes the boundaries of what is normal. When you think it can't get weirder, it does. Smooth read.
Best short stories:
- Two's Family
- Life Ceremony
- Body Magic
Not scientific. Religious. Poorly written. However, I do like how he compares a brain to a bowl of mud.
I love how dark and twisted it is, but the pacing isn't as good as the other books in the series.
Exactly the type of normalized insanity I was looking for. Excellent book with good pacing.
Romance novel with vague mentions of science. Dirty scenes (some creepy) and a strange portrayal of OCD.
Convenience Store Woman gone wrong. Was too long and drawn out. (Update: still thinking about it a month later, up to 3 stars for being thought provoking)
I really like Oseman’s writing and inclusivity. She should write a book targeted for adults.
A lot more flirting than the first book and not quite as good, but am still looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
More complicated than other books in the series and more violent because the games are low-tech. Fantastic book.
Killing men randomly is not feminism. It's not horror since it is so predictable. Redeemed by two that were darker and held more meaning:
- Smack
- Cassandra After
Has themes that are important societally and has good humor, but includes scenes that are too brutal for me.
