Wow. That was great!
I enjoy travel time books, but sometimes it's a bit complicated to understand when they change something in the past and then the whole story changes. That's why I was a bit worried about this; however, I gladly admit that this was a very satisfying story.
Although the characters are supposed to be young adults, I wouldn't label this book for young adults because there are some quite detail descriptions about attraction. However, I think it's perfect for new adults.
I don't know if it's because lately I've been watching too much anime, or reading too many mangas, but I was picturing this story as an anime in my head. I loved the fast pace, the unique characters, and I think that this novel would be a perfect as an anime.
The ending of course was a cliffhanger , and I can't wait to know what is going to happen in the next book!
I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
I'm not a huge fan of superheroes. Not because I dont like them, but because no matter their stories and background, they are all the same. It's like a kind of cliché the way superheroes must look and that got me tired. So, of course when I saw the cover of this book, I thought I was allucinating -no kidding, I really couldn't not believe my eyes!- so inmediately I read the description and it was enough. I had to read it.
And what a wise decision I made!
This is amazing in all the extension of the world. I loved Faith as Summer and Zephyr. Such a wonderful and complex character that made me admire her. She's confident and has her feet on the ground although she can fly.
The story was also interesting. I can't wait to figure out what is going to happen next, so I'm going to follow this series until the very end.
Even when I only have read the first 2 episodes, I'm quite sure the following story will be as great as the first two. In conclussion, I can only say that I have a new favorite superhero, and man, she rocks!
I recieved a copy through Netgalley but this fact didn't influence the review.
This is the kind of graphic novels I like and enjoy. It has humor, relatable characters, a catchy story and beautiful illustrations.
I certainly didn't know what to expect when I started reading, but with each page, I found myself more and more caught by the story and I couldn't simply stop.
I'm really looking forward to see it printed because the art was so great that I want to read it again.

This books is weird but great. The beginning was shocking because it tells you the bad and the ugly side of the publishing world. I always wanted to read -or listen- the truth about the book industry, and reading this from a fiction book, was like getting a slap in the face because it's true. It couldn't be otherwise coming from an author that writes from the heart.
The middle of the book focused more on the romance and Colin was really depressed. At that point, I felt sad and pessimist. Yeah, blame Travis Thrasher for that.
However there was a twist in the story that left me amazed. I had to re read a lot of chapters because I still couldn't believed it. The ending was glorious. Like Colin, I think I've found myself too.
This book is perfection to me. I had high expectations for this book and it have surpassed them! Such an adorable story, beautiful characters and a sweet romance. Though I must admit at the beginning the romance was quite odd because they met when Gretl was very young, but still I enjoyed Jakób and Gretl as a couple and their story was great.
I'm still wondering if this is just fiction or if it happened in real life! Also, it would be amazing to read more books by this author. She's great!
Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did.
The synopsis caught my attention because I was looking for something creepy to read -mainly because I have read too much romance lately so I wanted to read anything that could give a good scare- and this graphic novel seemed perfect for my mood. However, this book didnt give me the creeps but instead, made have a very good time.
Even when this book is for children, I ought to say it's also enjoyable for more madure readers. The graphics are stuning, the plot captivating and the characters totally likeable. The style of the narrative was different from what I've read before, and I'm quite sure I'll be checking if this author has new books coming out.

I'm a fan of Tosca Lee's books. She writes amazing stories and I don't even have to know the synopsis of her new books because I'm sure I'm going to love it anyway. But when I read the synopsis for [b:The Progeny 27221614 The Progeny (Descendants of the Blood Countess #1) Tosca Lee https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1450632253s/27221614.jpg 47828389], it just blown my mind. It sounded very different from her previous works, so I had very high expectations for this book.
The beginning was a bit slow, but once the story continued, it was absolutely fast! I think the way it started made perfect sense because it helped me to understand the characters and what they were going through.
This book is an authentic thriller. Tosca Lee has written and unstoppable story and you can't even try to guess what's going to happen next because it's full of twists.
I love female protagonists who are brave and are not crying in very page, so Emily was such a great character to read. She surprised me with her complex personality and unusual gifts. The setting is also great. While reading, in my mind was like a movie full of vivid colors and wonderful characters.
The ending left me gasping and looking for the next page, so I'm more than excited to read the next book in this series and I really REALLY hope not have to wait for a long time.

I don't know what this is about, but it's Tosca's book, so I'M EXCITED!!
Updated after reading the title and the synopsis:
“...Most notorious female serial killer of all time”
Ok Tosca, you got me!
The synopsis of this book seemed interesting. I usually love this kind of secuential art because it's funny but also contains some things to think about. This book was funny but only sometimes and unfortunately I couldn't find any reason to keep reading. The story didn't captivated me and the characters were not as developed as I expected. However, if I see another book by this author, I could give it a try.

This is such a great book and the reason why I can't give a higher rating is because I made a huge mistake: I read this book without knowing it was the final in a series, so of course I missed the whole story.
This book was a wild ride of emotions. The characters were complex and they made the story even more interesting.
I'd like to say more but I didn't enjoy this as much as I would have liked because I didn't read the first two books, so shame on me! Now that I've learnt the lesson and I won't do it again.
So, my advice is: read the whole series. It's worth it!
I won this book through GoodReads and I thank to the publisher for providing me this copy but this fact didn't influence the review.
This book is a little bit hard to rate. The beginning was really great. It grabbed me completely, then it became slow and slow, but then fast again, so I truly don't know if this 4 stars reflect my feelings.
The story was great. I had my theories about the murder but they all were wrong -and that's a good thing- so I was delighted with the twists. I felt kinda lost with the gossips of the town but in the end they helped me to understand the characters and the story.
I liked -a lot- how the author managed the romance. It was clever and real. I'm looking forward to read the next book in this series!
This book only confirmed what I already knew when I read Esther: that I'm becoming a fan of Angela Hunt.
The book is rich in historical content and explains very well the culture of that time. I've learnt a lot with the story and the characters.
I'm glad this series is about beautiful women and I hope the author writes more historical fiction about another women of the Bible.
