I think this would be great for first-time birthing people who have a lot of fear around birth, and people who are interested in being encouraged to pursue home or alternative birth experiences.

I liked the positioning tips, reassurances, and affirmations. As someone who has already gone through the birthing process, I felt like I already knew and was comfortable with a lot of the points touched upon here.

The writing was very approachable, but often mentioned things only briefly, maybe with a note to check out a different section of the book. But not a lot of depth of information, and I didn't see sources linked inline for the info being presented.

I'm appreciating this book in the week after my due date for it's positive vibes, but I certainly wouldn't use it as my main source of info leading up to birth.
