It was so powerful and impactful, but at the same time it was hard to read. Hard to understand everything she went through while being in the public eye, hard to know what was actually going on behind the scenes of a show that was seen by so many people. But it is the reality of a lot of people, and Jeannette gave a voice to all of them.
This book gives you a whole new perspective about the Tv industry and the idealization of it. It also gives an important message about abusive relationships and the romanticism around family.
I didn't think I would like this book and... I LOVED IT. It reads like a Hallmark movie, it is easy to read, heart warming and it gives you such a happy feeling while reading it
