This book was a great edition to the Holiday Brothers series. I really enjoyed the banter between Heath, Stella and Guy. It was incredibly entertaining to read about from both Stella and Heaths povs because I was screaming at both of them. I really just wanted them to talk to each other most of the time. Once they started dating, I knew it was all over. I did hate how Heath made her keep their relationship a secret at first, I think the people around them knew what was going on. I really did enjoy this book.
3.75 stars I highly recommend this for a fun, sexy holiday read for sure.
This really is a love story of chemistry plus a cooking show of Bill NYE was a woman and in the 60's. Loved this so much! My favorite character was Six-Thirty!
This was an interesting read. I was able to listen to the audiobook from my local library on the libby app.
If you have any issues reading about child or diving into dystopian motherhood, I would not pick this novel up.
This was an interesting take on what it means to be a mother and how we are ‘programmed' to be 100% perfect all the time, no matter what. I really enjoyed this novel. There were moments that I was upset at the way to program was super unfair to the mothers. It made me sympathize with Frida. I felt so sorry that she was having to endure so much pain and programming just to maybe get her daughter back, no guarantees.
This story was such a good love story. I was engaged by Eva and Shane the entire time. I was definitely tearing up in part of the novel.
First poetry book by this author. I am just dipping my toes into poetry and this was good. Can't wait to read more by this author.
I listened to this on audio but also read along with my kindle book.
This was so good. I think i would actually rate this 4.5 stars. I was so invested in the story of Nell and the Cartographers. I didn't see that ending though, honestly a little lack luster. I want a more defined ending personally.
These are some of the best graphic novels I have read. Love the characters, the banter, the topics that are handled within the plot are done well and with compassion and understanding. I truest adore this series and don't want it to ever end!
Ok
This was the second best of this series from Amazon. Still not very great. The story was taking some weird turns and it is only 33 pages.
Started out very unsure of where the story was going. I am glad it was a short story. I would not have enjoyed anything longer.
This was very strange for me. I didn't know what I was getting into but it was a weird ride. I honestly haven't liked any other novels I have read by this author and that could be the issue.
I honesty enjoyed this read but it was hard. I couldn't get over the language of the way everyone was talking in but that is part of the culture of the time.
I was shocked about the ending though. Wasn't quite expecting that at all.
This was a very cute LGBTQ+ representation in a graphic novel. I loved the friendship between the 3 main girls. It is a story about overcoming your fear and being brave in the face of danger and new things.
THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE BANGER.
This was my first reverse harem book and I cannonballed in for sure. Once I started this novel it was very hard to put it down to do anything else.
This was so good. Not perfect, had some things I could have done without but overall so so good.
Listened as an audiobook.
This story was a wild ride. I was not expecting to find anything like that out about the Vanger family. Don't know if I will listen to the next one but I am interested to continue the series.
I was not expecting this novel to be a steamy romance, looking back I should have known. The dynamic between the main characters, Aston and Jasmine, was astounding. I was gripped with every interaction. I was talking to my audiobook about certain scenes and encounters. Would highly recommend this one if you are looking for some spicy romance!
I really enjoyed this novel. I read this as part of my in-person book club. At first I was having a hard time getting into the novel but I blame that on the 2 books I read right before starting this one. I kept getting confused and thought I was still reading the previous series I had just finished.
This was an interesting take on cults, not only in the story but also the execution of it. It was told in timeline switching from past to present to unearth details in a specific way. I really enjoyed that once I knew what was going on. I was so vested in the investigation that Lindsay was doing. I definitely wasn't seeing that plot twist coming.
Listened through the Libby app -
This was definitely a different kind of superhero story. The interweaving of high school crushes and superheroes was an interesting take. Especially since Nick wrote fanfiction about the superheroes. I was enthralled by the story enough that I am picking up the next book immediately.
This book kept me up at night the first 2 days I was reading it. THEN IT PROCEEDED TO MIND FUCK ME EVEN MORE.
This. Book. Was. Not. What. I. Was. Expecting. AT ALL. (in a good way).
I had a vision of where this book was going, and then WAHBAM! It was way better than what I was expecting. You cannot predict what is going to happen in this book. This was some weird fuckery shit, and I loved it.
