It's a classic story and definitely interesting. It was a good read, but there are some definitely Joss Whedon lines that did not age well

This was incredibly hard to read and painful, but worth it. I learned a ton from this work. Farrow is an incredible writer bleeding with empathy and passion for the subject. I also cried quite frequently. If you are up to going to some dark places, you will learn a lot

I am so here for this Jane Austen style urban fantasy series! It was incredibly well done in the Regency style and the fantasy aspects were a blast. The characters were flawless and she did such a good job with the tension between the expectations of society at that time and the necessities of the paranormal experiences around them. Love love love

2.5 stars. Honestly it just could have been better. It was fine and not actively terrible, but sort of hovered in the just okay column.

Absolutely incredible graphic novel. I wanted to read this since watching Legion. It was wonderful, great for fans of the show and for fans of the weirder side of superheroes. I love the driving idea of this story and the use of mental health as intertwined with his powers. The dialog writing is flawless and the art is gorgeous.

I adore Greg Rucka. His writing is constantly wonderful. He injects a warmth into his stories that make them fun and emotional in wonderful ways. The action was great! You can't beat space pirate adventures. This is the book I hand people who are skeptical about my love for Cyclops.

I loved the artwork and the concept, and had some issues with the story/dialog. It was good enough to make me want to read more but definitely had some problematic points that were cringy to say the least (seriously every line about Foggy should not be fat shaming people, come on). The art styling was wonderful and played with sound effects in a way to convey the powers of Daredevil. That said, if you are coming to this because of your love for the Netflix version, the differences are profound as to be a totally different character.

Sarah Bessey has a way of writing about difficult things that makes her books seem like warm, comforting presences. Her words are there to guide you through the dark nights of the soul with a warm cup of tea and a empathetic hug. I love this book and it spoke directly into my stage of life. Fully recommend for anyone sorting through the faith of their childhood with the eyes of adulthood

I read these books with my nephew and find myself enjoying them too. I'm constantly surprised by how creative and odd these little stories are. This volume uses the ponies to tell a Parks and Rec style story about appreciating local government. Imagine my surprise, but I'm here for it

Revisiting this series continues to bring me joy

I loved loved loved this! It's the cracking wise fast talking spidey of my childhood in a story that is sometimes hilarious and meta, and other times incredibly moving. I love it. The last issue in the volume was especially moving

This was an absolute delight to read. In the best way possible, this is a high quality officially sanctioned fanfic and I loved it. There were a few moments of eyebrow raise (why did Caitlin and Iris have an 80s movie style friend date, it was super weird), but everything else was pitch perfect for the show.

For new comers to the show this is set in a time somewhere in the realm of season 2 flash though it's not clear exactly how it links up timeline wise. Most spoilers are for season 1 but it does talk about the big bag of season 2. No spoilers for season 3 or beyond.
