I love Sophie Kinsella. I've read three of her novels now and they never fail to make me laugh, genuinely, out loud. This one was incredible well done. It was a truly non-formulaic chick lit novel. I fully recommend if you want a by the pool read that will add a few years to your life with laughter
This book was wonderfully funny. I listened to it on my commute and it made me laugh out loud constantly alone in my car (I can only imagine what the other drivers thought). It also made me yell at it the way one does at the a football game. All that to say, it brilliantly pulled emotions out of me. It drew me so deeply into the world of the novel I wanted to talk to the characters. It was moving and hilarious and romantic. Sophie Kinsella is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and this was another wonderful addition to her catalog.
This is a flawless all age comic about brilliant young women of STEM, about compassion, and about being resilient together. I love this so much
I am so glad this book exists. This is a good book, and this is an important book. It tackles race and privilege in a way that is accessible to younger readers while having layers for older ones.
It is a slow starter but it ramps up at the end. And it is definitely on the nose, and yet with an ending that solid, it's hard to mind.
Screams in delight! This book was pure joy in a space opera form. I adore the found family of it and the character is so charming. I would reread this a thousand times
I really loved this book! It was such a fun mystery with fantastic characters! There was definitely some things I could use more on (at the end I especially wanted more closure) but overall it was gripping and well done
It's a classic story and definitely interesting. It was a good read, but there are some definitely Joss Whedon lines that did not age well
I love this series. It makes me so angry it got cancelled because it is about as perfect as can be. Light hearted, hilarious, badass feminist hero for the win. The use of the visual medium is creative and adds to the humor. It's surreal in the best way. It also features mer-corgis! Mermaid corgis...need I say more?
Lovely and meaningful. There's a lot to think about and I will probably need to reread it to get the nuances
This made me so happy. I love Supes and Jon and this new version of Superman is amazing
I now understand why everyone adores Dick Grayson, yes I realize that makes me slow to be uptake. But I disliked the Spy 37 arch so much I ended up disliking him but Nightwing? More please!
I love this series. They are doing amazing things exploring anxiety, anger, and discrimination through the green lantern mythos.
It's a bit of a difficult jumping on space for a new flash reader, but once I got the ropes and let go of understanding the speed force (it's just magic with no set rules, don't lie) I really enjoyed this! I was especially into the villain Godspeed. All and all a solid volume
This is my first exposure to aquaman and I am hooked. He's just trying to make the world a better place everyone, my kind of hero
I adore this graphic novel! Fully recommend for all age readers. It's a sweet adventure that focuses on family, both bio family and found family
Soooo good. I love the idea of intentionally creating hygge in my life anywhere I can!
My only complaint is it was too short! I need more of Lauren Grahams delightful positive outlook and quick wit. This book was a happy place
It was so fun to reread this one! The early books remain my favorites! I feel like I got even more out of it than before. Beautiful as always
I am going to need to sit with this one a long while before I can say what I actually think of it.
I read issues 1, 2, 4, and 5 in one sitting. I love this series so much. She is such an inspiration for young girls and for encouraging young girls to get into STEM fields, and she's 9! I love this so much. It was a slow starter for me, but I am hooked.
