well that was depressing..

the books in this series go by so fast and they were entertaining but everything else was extremely average. I disliked the main character and any love interest and things got repetitive at times.

it does make me want to read Sherlock Holmes though

also the MC slandered the great Gatsby.. I knew I hated her for a reason

liked the unique story but last quarter of the book sucked and ruined everything

kept me super entertained! first book in a while that had me hooked :)

why did she keep hitting the nae nae though, I mean I do it ironically while cooking but this girl hit the nae nae like its 2015 still

i saw the movie a decade ago and a couple times since and i never knew it was based off a book.. so anyways i already know what happens and how it ends but this book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and i nearly DNFed because it stressed me out so much (from the TW- animal abuse) but i prevailed and here i am just a little bit more traumtized but ok with it

a bit more maturer (matuter? more mature? idk I graduated so long ago) than the first book but it did it well. It definitely captured the early high school experience especially someone who is disabled and starting high school, I think it really captured that.

didnt like most stories but some were alright

better than any horror movie ive seen this year but also really light hearted and fun :))

it started REALLY good and was a solid 5 star read until I hit the halfway mark and it drastically went downhill. I left the book with negative feelings instead of positive ones. this would do well as a movie (is there one?) but as a book..

Confusing at times but this story sucks you in and leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time.

Well.... the hype for this book set me up for a great story but nope.
The first half of this book was AMAZING but the other half ruined the whole story for me.

The only good thing about this book was the characters. I could picture them perfectly and I loved them all.

Never again.

Sarah Dessen never disappoints! I love reading her books because they put me in such a happy mood but her books always have such a sad story in them, my emotions are all over the place when reading them haha

My least favourite Dessen book but it still amaaaaazing!

Reading rush 2019-Book 1: Read a book with a non-human main character


I really liked this book in the first half but the other half was kinda disappointing.
I didn't like the plot twist, All the characters annoyed me, and the writing got worse.
It kinda reminded me of the fan fiction I would read about harry styles when I was 13 (man 2012 was a different time) like the vampire harry styles stories, he's dangerous and you shouldn't be near him but you love him so you stay with him (ok reminds me of twilight too).I hope you get what I'm saying lol


Anyways this story was addicting and the chapters were so short so it was hard not to say “just one more chapter before bed” and next thing you know, you've read 10 more chapters

The way this book has so many of my favourite tropes.. I need more Christina Lauren books

hm so... the whole book was great until the ending and the little plot twists before the big plot twist. They weren't needed at all and take away from the story.

I didn't like the end or any of the plot twists but i still am rating this 4 stars because of the writing, characters, setting and just everything until the last 50 pages.

This book had me sweating and i had to close the book so many times because it was making me sooo nervous. I definitely want to read more books from this author!

It was a solid 4 star book at the start but ended up being a 3 star. It's a book I'll remember for a while though!

it turns out that reading two MHG books back to back isn't a good thing! It's very obvious how similar her books are.. which makes guessing who is the killer very obvious

needed a short book to help me out of this reading slump and I think it worked idk

some stories actually made me gasp so I guess that means it was good. Some stories were lacking though

I was expecting a 5 star book but got this.
It felt like I was reading a children's book at times but then an adult chapter comes along and reminds me this is supposed to be a 18+ book.
The characters were so unrealistic. Alex was the absolute worst.
