First of all it is way too short for mine obsession with Horizon: Zero Dawn.
The story follows the new Sunhawk: Talanah, the first female to hold that title since the founding of the Hunter's Lodge. She is restless since she gained the title to honor her fallen father and brother, she takes a contract to get rid of a new Machine that causes trouble for the people in Rising Light but she gets injured. Talanah gets saved by Amadis a former soldier who deserted after the slaughter of Southern Spear. Hunted by Kyran, a other member from the Lodge, for the bounty on Amadis' head they wound up in a cave with a whole new threat lurking in the water.
Like I said I found the story too short and the art style was something that I'm not my preference.
This book is clearly part of a bigger serie, that I didn't read. It is the first time that I read something from Deon Meyer, I loved it that he brought me to Souht-Africa all thou I would loved to see more and clearer of the country.
The writing was quit simple and the ending was quit underwhelming.
The story it self is about a woman whom got murdered and the detectives on her case, during the story you will find out that the woman (Alicia Lewis) worked in the art business to find lost art, her speciality is the Dutch masters from the Golden Age.
The rape-suicide case ended sad and happy. The last chapter of this volume is the start of a two new cases, detective Gotou is in search of a criminal who killed his father with a hammer while Hakura begins her internship at a childerenschool and encounters a little boy (I think around 9 or 10 years old) who claims to see souls. The same ability that Yakumo has.
With the new case I can't remember any of it from the first time I read it.
I enjoy this serie. The first time I have read the first volume I got the vibe that this serie was similar as Ghost Hunt (only watched the anime).
The story begins with Ozawa Haruka who is seeking help by Saitou Yakumo because one of her friends wind-up in the hospital.
While reading the first volume it's clear that both characters are damage by their past.
I didn't like this one shot manga.
The story is based on real life events: Mayerling-incident.
Marie release unknowing a demon out of a book. The demon named Seto must graned her a wish knowing that it will bring her disaster. Marie's wish is that she can meet the Crown prince of Austria just once, she is in love with him.
In the manga Rudolph looks a whole lot better then he ever in real life. The two stars that I gave are just solely for the art.
This was a beautiful Fairy Tale about a little who loves the winter and the Ice Dragon. All thou the story is short after reading the first page I was there along side Adara.
I know that this story has nothing to do with A Song of Ice and Fire, I still wonder if this story is Fairy Tale from that world.
