I think I wanted more than I got and not to say it was bad. It was good in the beginning but towards the middle end things started to get a little messy. Not to mention honestly don't care for Cecily as a character. I like Jeremy he was the stalker psychotic me I wanted and got. But still so in love with her that he wants to give her everything. I loved the idea and the aesthetic of their love rather than the execution of them in their own book. Safe to say I will be reading book 4 and can't wait to continue on with the series
It was okay I think the plot itself is strong but I didn't really have that much connection with the characters to continue with this series for now maybe later
did this book take me out the reading slump I need the answer is Yes omg I could always count on there books to do that. I loved everything about this book from the sexy times all the way to the talk of insecurities a such. It was such a fun read and I'm glad I finally read it. I loved The Dear and wanted more and OMG this was so much more.
It did more telling than showing but I really enjoyed the characters so I can't fully dislike this book the plot was interesting and the romance was cute I miss reading strangers to lover books so this was so much fun
Entertaining but no plot it's just her angry and horny for the rest of the book after turning into a vampire we have the clique mean girl who hates her uhhh gag me with that trope and ... oh can't forget the plot twist in the end which was entertaining until I got to book 2 (SMH
Everything about this story, the narrators even the characters had me invested from start to finish I couldn't put it down. I mean I almost decided to drop everything I needed to do to read this book all day. It was such good read like the romance between these characters have you gasping for more every second. The mystery element of what her dreams actually mean truly does hold you by a thread to the last minute. Even now I'm trying to guess what could possibly happen. The book was such an amazing read I genuinely loved everything about it. I got a recommendation from someone that loved this series so I decided to pick it up and OMG I truly was not disappointed at all. The FML had to be my favorite character. I mean the way I got to see her grow from being a push over to someone who stand up for themselves truly made me happy for her. Nick omg don't even get me started I loved that man. The minute he seen her he was obsessed. I loved his character so much. he was always there for her and had her best interest at heart even when he wanted to be selfish and have her all to himself. I love this man for her. He truly was amazing. I loved the intersecting of timelines. I love watching them fall and be in love in many different ways. I love how each one is different so we are trying to find out how many lives they lived together. This book truly captivated me in a way I didn't expect. I can't wait to start the next book!
The way I don't know how to feel about this book. It was so good yet the last hour I was confused on where the plot was going to go since it already felt like the book ended. I liked what the author did though. Even though it felt like the end we still got to see more of their story. I actually low key kind of like that more than I can admit. Their love literally transcends time and for them to end with everything they have wanted I honestly can't be upset about it.
This book i tarted a month ago right after the first one then I took a pause bc I had some issues with it but I think those issues I realized as I kept reading did add more to the book and I really liked it. I think the book was solid I had fun while reading it though and I have some scene that will forever be engraved in my mind
I had a good time reading it but this book had no business being this long
Rating: 4.5 stars
I had so much fun reading this book. I was scared half the time but fun nonetheless. It's a good read definitely not for everyone but it's was just the right amount for me. We had so many sub plots along either main romance and I feel as though everything executed well. I also love her writing styles it's literal perfection in my opinion. Overall just had a good time reading this in between doing work and school.
New Obsession. I love how real and raw this book is like we get to see black women in their true form. Like we get to see how hair could effect each and every women in a good and bad way. How much it's not just about “hair” it means more to black women and it will forever be. I love this book so much it speaks so much to a younger version of myself I think this book isn't for young girls but its something that as you get older it really speaks to a older audience because it reminds you how much hair really connects women no matter what it looks like. I really love this book and probably one of my favorite graphic novels of this year. I highly recommend it and I'm glad I was able to have the opportunity to read it.
