It was okay I think the plot itself is strong but I didn't really have that much connection with the characters to continue with this series for now maybe later

Drawn out and slow going. I had high hopes for this one. It was very disappointing, and honestly, some of the scenes made me question if the characters were crossing a line. I'm just adding another DNF to my current reading streak.
This book was also giving me flashes of Anne Bishop's The Others.
