It ended a way that I didnt expect so I have mixed feeling but I loved everything else about the book so how can I give this book anything less than 5 stars plus i think the next book is going to be interesting and we are going to learn many things.
Rating: 3.5 idk it was good but I wasn't fully connected to the characters but also I was idk I did love the ending it was cute and it went a route I didn't expect from the synopsis but I still enjoyed
This was fucking good! I had such a fun time reading this one I finished it super fast like early this morning. This is my first time reading a RH where she finds her soulmates individually and I thought I would hate it but I had a good time. I also love there dynamic with her and Riot but the fact that Bullet visits her in her dreams but she forgets him every night was such a good concept. Honestly I can't wait to start the next book hopefully I will contine to love it.
Rating 4.5/5 loved it really kept me engaged but personally Eva was hella dumb and I love a good dumb mfl but it was to much at times still lover her though and I'm reading the next book also I hope she grow as a character though.
This is one of my favorite books now like I think it cured my reading slump I've been in for a while. This book really does talk you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I've at places in this book that wasn't even necessary to cry but I did. The characters were just so complex and truly fighting to get better and I think it was just done so well. Like it was like they were actual people going through this trauma in the real world. The characters go through so much from a young age until their adulthood and just try to get better for not only themselves but the people around them. The side characters also had me very invested there were times where I was like do we really need to know what there thinking but then you realize that it really does play an important role. The fact the characters were just black people in America also was amazing. Like they talk about so many things and how wrong and bad black people are treated in this world but it doesn't overwhelm you with that theme. That we as black people acknowledge that but at the end of the day we still are people and we still have our lives to get through. The author did an amazing job putting the real-life struggles and successes black people face. My favorite character would have to be our main character Genevieve out the main female lead. I think she stood out to me the most because she was just a girl who is trying to overcome her past while also creating a new life for her daughter. The emotions throughout this whole book were just raw and amazing. I highly recommend this book to anyone I can because it's just an amazing read. Also, there is a lot of mention of things like suicide + mental health trauma and a lot of other things that can be trigging to people I'm just blanking out on the other things that happened that could be triggering I'm sorry.
It gave what needed to be given. I mean the aspect of truth or dare throughout the book was so good I think this book really allowed me to see that I like friends to lovers troop more than I thought. Or it could be how well it's orchestrated by the author to because I felt everything they had for each other. It was just such an amazing read and highly recommend a read.
I loved it so much at first I was skeptical but after realizing it was the best friend to lovers I knew I was going to love it I think every aspect of it was amazing. I think romance is the main focus and the who don't it is in the back but I do think the author does an amazing just at making sure the audience was able to really keep updated about everything. It wasn't like this situation happened romance and things throw everything else that's supposed to drive the store at the end. Everything was structurally placed perfectly even the conflict between them. It was really reasonable and made since so I think it really made the story way better. I also just love Jay with my entire being like even when he was upset or they were in an argument he was always there for her. I just love that man and I wished I had someone like that in my life. The whole book was amazing and I don't think there was anything I would change about it.
I loved the characters I loved how cute they were together but it was really boring and it felt dragged for no reason.
I'm literally in love with this book. I'm not new to the Mafia world and do I wish we could get another book with them bc this one felt too short-lived yes. The book gave me everything I needed. A possessive man who was forced to marry a girl when she turns 18. The book is truly just slow passing for like a god bit then it starts to speed up to halfway through bc it seemed like the author realized she had to hurry up and finish it. I feel as though this could be a 2 part of them bc there is so much unsaid. Like it was too “beautifully wrapped up” in my opinion. Or maybe I just love these characters so much I just want to stay with them. I love Luca, I love Aria, Love Matteo, Love Giavanna (a little bit she kinda annoyed me for like a chapter but I understand she is just trying to protect her sister). Everyone here is just all that I wanted and needed from a mafia romance. It gave the danger, the blood, the knives, the guns, the murder, and the sex all that I needed. It was super good and highly recommend it if you want a quick read I just was busy so I couldn't finish fast as I wanted but it's a good read. There are mentions of like rape and sexual assault so also keep that in mind.
Obviously a 4.5 star did u see Feyre slaughter that Attor while free falling yeah babes that alone babes gave this a high rating.
