I'm giving this book a full 5 star, it's not solemnly earned by this book alone but to the full series as a whole.
This is one of the better historical books ever written, or at least read by me. And it's cleverly done, taking a classical and well known myth, refresh it and put it in a vaild historical context. Bravo!
Frankly, not bad but having a hard time liking a protagonist whom is a massmurderer. That and Clacys liking for words, a lot of words, made this a dull readingexperience
What a mess!
This book is all over the place and never trust itself on its own. Its basically Alien and HAL 9000 gangraping ET at the Firefly ship. 95% of my reading time was spent trying to find from which franchise the next chapter would lend its theme. And still i wouldnt stop reading, dont know why
Is this really the same author that wrote the nearly classic Chiefs? Hard to realize after reading this sloppy novel
this is one of my favourites should be treated as an American classic. The dialog is fantastic and its a story of American southern history first and a crimenovel secondly
Only 1 book of the selfish, whining and unlikable Fitz left. It is well written but i fucking hate this guy, he does everything wrong. Stop complaining ffs.
Loved Liveship and Rainwild but have a really hard time with this guy
It was ok, nothing more. The Martian magic is not here even though Weir tries, and he tries hard.
