This book was by no means bad, I just read this book at a young age so parts of it were hard for me to understand. This book uses vocabulary from older times, so children won’t understand all the words. But this book is great for early middle schoolers or late elementary schoolers, especially if they love a mystery.
A lot of people don’t like this book but personally I loved it. At parts this book can be a little bit scary so I would suggest this for ages 12 and up. But if your child gets scared easily this book might not be for them. The ending of the book did feel a little abrupt to me, but it was still good. The middle of the book really starts to captivate you and makes you want to keep reading so it’s an easy book to get through in my opinion.
At the beginning of this book I didn’t really like this book, but as I got about a third into the book I couldn’t put it down. Great plot and I loved the details in the characters. This book definitely had some adult scenes so if someone is going to read those scenes, I suggest they are 16+ but it depends on maturity level. If someone is going to skip those scenes then anyone 12+ I think could read this book.
I loved this series soo much, but this book was by far my favorite in the series. Personally my favorite type of books are mysteries, so this book was so fun to read. This book can be a bit scary at times and a few inappropriate scenes. So I would suggest this book for late middle school to high schoolers, but it depends on their maturity level.
This book is the third in its series I believe, I really enjoyed the first two but when I got to this one I just got very bored. I didn’t finish this book for reasons such as I didn’t think the storyline was very compelling. Also, it felt a bit drawn out but this book is great for young readers probably late elementary school.
I read this book early middle school, most people in my class hated it and didn’t understand it. But personally I loved this book and even if it didn’t always make complete sense I just sort of understood it. I believe ever adult should read this book because it teaches people to keep their child like wonder!
