Boy was this book dirty! Jayce was very confusing and at times very hot except for when he pissed in that girl’s mouth, absolutely not. That was such a turn off. This book has a “choose your ending” bit and I quite enjoyed it. I did read both endings, with both endings I stay with the same questions… Why would anyone teach a child to do what Jayce was doing? AND WHY did a CHILD even want to learn anything about that? I personally would’ve been extremely creeped out and never went home with the man again. The revelations throughout the book had me shooketh, and that’s all I will say to avoid spoiling it for anybody else. If you pick this book up, enjoy you lil sl*t.

First time reader of Melanie, and I am OBSESSED! The way I knew that Rafael could not be trusted the minute he was mentioned is crazy. As much as I tried to believe that he truly just wanted what was best for Olivia I just couldn’t. Trust your gut people! I loved Jose and absolutely hated his sister. I loved the mystery this book had, I enjoyed learning new things about Olivia as she learned them herself. When I tell you I was shocked in the end, believe me, I didn’t expect it to end that way but I’m not mad at it and it makes me very excited to see how this series goes.

Is there any book that doesn’t include abusive, shitty parents?? My feelings about this book are all over the place. I hated the weakness from the FMC, the way she gave in knowing that some things were just not in her best interest. Her sister forcing her to go to her ceremony knowing that she didn’t want to go back to the castle didn’t sit right with me. No respect for boundaries. Typical from the favorite younger child.

Why is it that when they betray you they immediately go for “I thought I was protecting you”? Like that makes their betrayal any less of a betrayal. And why is it always a random man that thinks that the FMC needs saving/protecting as if she doesn’t already have someone on her side? (He’s not exactly random, he’s a prince and they’re somewhat friends, but still)

The ending left me with so many questions…

I ate this novella up. Once I started I just couldn’t put it down and I was definitely not ready for Wes & Lily’s story to end. I went in totally blind so imagine my surprise—and my excitement—when I noticed that the MMC was the FMC’s ex-boyfriend’s dad. The only thing that I wasn’t a really big fan of was the MMC calling the FMC “little girl”.

For those who want to know, the real fun begins in chapter 14 😏

Belle, girl stand tf up! She’s better than me but I also think she’s kind of stupid (?). For one, if someone tells me their family is cursed I certainly would not marry into the family, idc how broke my family is or how hot the groom is. Two, being betrayed by a friend then going “ I don’t have it in me to hate him anymore” is insane. Girl hate that man until the end of time. The housekeeper or whatever she was to them, should’ve been fired at the first sign of hostility.

The “curse” (a murderer and not a curse) being who it was did shock me. He was the last person that I expected to be killing people. I kind of enjoyed finding that out but hated his reasoning for it. His sister being killed at a park and his parents being selfish and committing suicide, leaving him alone had absolutely nothing to do with that family and he still blamed them because his boss refused to chase after his sister???? Weird but okay.

I found myself getting bored with this book early on and honestly I should’ve figured out that this book was simply not for me before the 60% mark but I wanted to give it a chance…

I think I have thrown my dislike for the cheating trope out the window for good. I ate this book up, I loved the main characters and totally despised Adrian’s parents especially his dad. I kind of wish Matias would have made Adrian suffer a little more for how he handled the situation in their college days but it is what it is. I wasn’t a fan of Adrian’s wife because how can she not tell that her husband was not attracted to women? How did she not notice how tense he got when she touched him intimately? I blame her for being so blind. Regardless of the inconvenience (the wife) I really enjoyed this book and Matias & Adrian’s relationship.

“You know, people cheat on their spouses when they’re not happy”

That sentence coming from Charlotte when it did had me cackling because honey, you didn’t have to tell him that, he already knew that in fact he was already cheating by then so it’s not like he cared about it LMAO

Anyways, the spice was definitely spicing and if you are okay with the cheating trope I totally think you should give this book a chance.

For a read so short I found myself losing interest in it pretty quickly. The FMC was a bit annoying in my opinion. Usually, I am a sucker for enemies to lovers and this one just didn’t hit the spot for me.

This book follows Francesca as she travels to Boone, Kansas to pack and sell her brother's home after his family's sad death. There she gets a letter that was addressed to Steven, her late nephew, from his girlfriend Molly. This letter sets her on a warpath to destroy the family of the girl who destroyed hers. And then there's Jackson, a man set on getting his own revenge on the same family for his own reasons until Francesca slowly becomes an additional reason.

I was very excited to dive into this book, now the story itself is good and I love that it was dual pov but the problem for me was that Francesca's pov was written in first person (which I love) while Jackson's pov was written in the third person, and for the life of me I cannot understand why.

I went into this book blind, didn’t realize this would be a fae book but it certainly did not disappoint. Elaudia has no idea of who she is until her aunt by marriage informs her of who she is, a Bellator, the last of her line. I loved her humor and I loved that she did not take 💩 from anybody. Cadmus was also a great & loyal character (I might have 3 favorite characters, cannot choose)

I absolutely loved Elaudia & Axel’s relationship, the way he protected her. I was not expecting the absolute heartbreak at the end and I can hardly wait to see her revenge take place in the next book!

It was a cute story centered around the holidays, it was the reason I wanted to read this book. The only disappointment was that it was all written in third person so it took me some time to get through it. Based on the sneak peak that was posted within the ARC it seems like all the books are written in third person so I this author wouldn't be my first choice. Doesn't stop me from wondering what happened with Lily or Noah.

This is the first time I read anything by this author, I also don’t usually read many sports romance but now I NEED to go back and read books 1-4 simply because this story was just that good.

Ashlyn sneaks out with her best friend Nina for a party and meets Brandon Dixon. They immediately hit it off but things happen, threats are thrown and she makes the decision to walk away from him to save herself & his career. 15 years later and those shared feelings have not faded. This is a second chance for them both and they intend on taking it. This time they’re not letting anything get in the way, not even Ashlyn’s stalker.

I loved this book, the way it was written & Ashlyn & Brandon’s story and how they finally made their way back to each other. If you want a book that’s about sports, romance and above all family then this is the book for you.

Kathy you did not have to make me cry in this one. All happiness was gone in the blink of an eye. Had me stuck to this book, all day. Both books were so good I hate to run to my partner and tell him EVERYTHING 😂😂 I love it when I read books and I’m trying to guess who the bad guy is just to be so shook when I finally get the truth and it turns out it was the first person I mentioned but for some reason kept changing my mind about them. This book will definitely keep you on your toes.

My favorite characters are Hunter and his brother Grayson. Really looking forward to his book. My least favorite characters were definitely Detective Rinaldi & Sean I kept waiting for Hunter to punch him in the face, he was just that annoying.

This book follows Olivia & Parker's story which in my opinion was going a little too fast but then again it was a fast read. Olivia is a model who has gone through recovery after losing her mother, now she must go home and either sell or keep her mother's house. Spoiler alert she meets Parker and decides to keep the house. One day the couple takes Parker's boat out on a fishing trip and they go through a near death experience, now this is where I started getting upset. Something about Parker's disappearing act after the accident had me a bit annoyed because she's the one whose life and appearance changed forever but he's the one cooped up in his house not even giving her the time of day. Even if he believed that she never wanted to speak to him again he still should've at least been there when she woke up. But instead the man decides to throw himself a pity party and destroy his home. In my opinion Olivia forgave him way too quickly.

P.S. I love the recipes that were included at the end of the book.

P. Rayne. You had me hooked from the beginning with this one. I didn’t want it to end, I absolutely loved Dante & Polina’s story from the beginning. They’re enemies forced into an engagement outside of their respective groups. Polina is Russian and Dante is the Italian Polina cannot stand. I must say I absolutely expected Dante to be a little A-Hole the whole time but he wasn’t surprisingly.

If you’re a fan of praise in the bedroom you will not be disappointed with Dante Accardi.

I wish I could say I enjoyed the second book more than the first one but that doesn’t seem to be the case for me. The story was going well and then Damian goes to see Agathe. I have mixed feelings about the whole Damian and Agathe scene. I realize the man was drunk but he wasn’t drunk when he showed up at Agathe’s door. I absolutely loved Sage though and how bad ass she was, that right there is a ride or die. The ending though 😬, Astrid give me book 3 ASAP. I got way too many questions.

S.K. Pryntz left me in shock, I suspected it and even then I was not ready for it when it was revealed. I was second guessing myself at every turn.

Chapter 7

“At this moment, I was more like Cinder with no ‘Ella' added.”

From the moment I realized this book had 3 POVs I was wondering why that was. I wondered what the cop had to do with Lucius and Ember's story, why was Ella so important that she got her own POV? It wasn't until chapter 7 that I started suspecting that Ember was indeed Ella. Just by that simple sentence ⬆️ the power of an over-thinker, am I right? Then as an over-thinker I started second guessing myself, thinking that there HAD to be another reason for the triple POV when there wasn't one. I did love the fact that Lucius put his anger aside and helped his little shadow figure out what was happening, even if it broke her to know that she was the reason her sister was gone.

I couldn't help but wonder tho;
What did Quinn feel when Ella/Ember socked him to save Lucius?
Does he honestly believe that Ella had committed suicide?

Can't wait to find out.

First book that I read of this series and now I wanna read the rest.

Starla is a girl who endured so much abuse but that didn't make her weak. Timeo is one of the people who rescued her and will stop at nothing to protect her.
I liked a lot of things in this books, the first being everything Timeo did for Starla (you find out more towards the end) followed by how protective Sergio (Timeo's brother & Starla's brother-in-law) is of Starla even against his own brother.

If you like;

Then this book is definitely for you. Although this is the final book in the series it's very easy to catch on and get to know the characters if you don't want to read the books that came before.

This is the first book I read from Vy Le and safe to say this won’t be the last. This is the first book in the Beneveti series and although I just finished Made To Sin and I am so ready for the second book. I absolutely loved everything about Katarina & Luciano’s relationship and when I say the man fell first & HARDER I mean it. There’s banter, there’s spice but there’s vulnerability as well. This is the book I would recommend to someone that was just starting to read dark romance. Your girl obviously skipped the trigger warnings and went in blind, and for those that know me, you know I usually skip the trigger warnings but I make sure that those who follow me know what to expect. This book starts right off the bat with domestic violence and drug use. For those who are not fans of the cheating trope, be aware that there is cheating mentioned but it is not between the FMC & the MMC. Overall this was a great read.

Chelle never misses. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by this author but it is the first of the series, I can honestly say it has me wanting to read the entire series. It was so good and if it weren’t for life I’d have finished it the day I started it. I loved everything about this book, I loved how protective Arrow was, I loved how although he wasn’t part of the MC they still cared enough to help him & Annie. I just loved and enjoyed the entire book. I 💯% recommend this book.

This book follows General Truda and Erik. Truda is loyal to her queen, striking enemies down at the queen’s command with no hesitation until she starts questioning the rules of the city and goes searching for answers. Erik is the human paired with Truda after she’s forced into the program to conceive a child that she doesn’t want. This book started a bit slow for me but once I got into it I simply couldn’t put it down. This is a slow burn, so take that for what it is, it’s SLOW and it doesn’t have as much spice as I usually read but the plot absolutely makes up for it. The world building and the writing itself was so good. Loved the strong Elf FMC. The only thing I would say I didn’t exactly like in this book was someone’s attitude when he didn’t get the answers he wanted(I’m looking at you Erik) everything else I enjoyed and I am very excited and ready to get into Acqueline’s story. If you ever take a rec from me, let it be this one.

Paxtyn you absolutely did not have to make me cry. These are words no parents should have to hear from their child. I'm so proud of Elaudia though, lost so many people and came out strong in the end. Absolutely loved the bond Elaudia & Nalah (little wave) created, I feel like Elaudia needed Nalah just as much as Nalah needed her, she definitely showed up at the right time. The spice was even better than the last book, Axel was hotter than ever. It was definitely a great read and I 100% recommend it!

This was a cute read although I do need to go back and read the first two books. When the author of this book reached out about an exchange/collaboration—an ebook in exchange for a review, I didn’t expect—actually I don’t know what I expected. I’m not someone that usually enjoys reading anything other than romance, fantasy, and smut I have to say that this book intrigued me because, well I am someone that was diagnosed with ADHD and I for one do not enjoy being medicated for it.

There was so much information about ADHD that I did not know about and I really enjoyed learning throughout this 📖. I appreciated the author’s humor throughout the chapters and the integrated illustrations because, let’s be honest, my brain would immediately wander off without it. I cannot wait to implement some if not all of the techniques mentioned in this book to help manage my ADHD starting with a change in my diet.

If you are someone who struggles with ADHD I definitely recommend giving this book a try, you might find some way to help you manage your ADHD.

Once again I’m blown away by how SK’s mind works. This book follows Ezello, the latina cop that goes undercover to discover who is behind the disappearances in the Asylum where she meets the totally hot but totally insane triplets–Pharoah, Goliath and Judas. She’s there to do one job but what happens when she is taken by the very person she’s looking for and is said to have run away with her “star-crossed” lover, Goliath.

No one should be surprised that my favorite part of the entire book was when they were at the amusement park for her birthday. One thing about me, I am an absolute sucker for the MFC being chased around whether it’s in a forest or in a mirror house and now added to the list is an abandoned amusement park. Call me crazy but I ate that scene up.

My least favorite part of the book was definitely the ending. SK how dare you do my boy Pharoah like that? That ending was heartbreaking and he deserved so much better. This ending also left me with so many questions. Why was it done in the same way that it was done to Quinn’s sister?
