I recently dove into *Blood Moon* by Melanie Gurenko, and let me tell you, I absolutely loved it! This enchanting tale drew me in with its mix of fantasy, romance, and a clever mystery that kept me guessing. 💖📖

The story follows Olivia Villanueva, who wakes up from a life-altering coma after a car accident, only to find her mind tangled in confusion and fragmented memories. As the daughter of the Vampire King of Andalusia, she has always had a unique destiny, but now she’s faced with the additional pressure of marrying her fiancé, Rafael, in just six months. To make sense of her new reality, Olivia is allowed to study at the Academia of Supernatural Beings—a decision that leads her down a path filled with unexpected twists.

What I loved most about Olivia's journey is her quest for identity amidst chaos. Gurenko brilliantly portrays her internal struggle, making her relatable and empathetic. As Olivia grapples with memories of historical figures and the feeling that something significant is missing from her life, readers are drawn into her emotional turmoil.

Enter Killian, the devilishly handsome Werewolf who turns Olivia's world upside down. Their chemistry is intoxicating, and he challenges everything Olivia thought she knew about herself and her place in the supernatural world. First time reader of Melanie, and I am OBSESSED! The way I knew that Rafael could not be trusted the minute he was mentioned is crazy. As much as I tried to believe that he truly just wanted what was best for Olivia I just couldn’t. Trust your gut people! I loved Jose and absolutely hated his sister. I loved the mystery this book had, I enjoyed learning new things about Olivia as she learned them herself. When I tell you I was shocked in the end, believe me, I didn’t expect it to end that way but I’m not mad at it and it makes me very excited to see how this series goes.
