Really engaging history of San Francisco in the late 60s, 70s, and some of the 80s. I skipped the two chapters about football because I just don't. Total page turner, I learned a ton.

Compelling characters, beautifully written story, and fascinating science behind forests. Heartbreaking and very motivating.

Fun but didn't super carry me away.
