I think this was one of those cases where I am not in the right kind of mood for this one. I thought the Night circus was pretty good so I was excited for this one, but trying to keep up with the different stories started to give me a bit of a headache. I didn't get very far in this one so I would like to give it another try later in the year. I've been reading my way through some fast paced books and I think that impacted my enjoyment of this one a bit. I will definitely give it another try though.
Thank you to Booksirens for sending me an advanced copy of the novel for a voluntarily review.
My actual rating is 3.5 stars. This book was slightly different than I thought it was going to be. I don't mind having mysteries with family drama in them, but for this one, it got a little bit too much for me. Aoife seems a bit naive at times, and then other times she knows what she is doing. The tension with Jason and Aoife also got a little repetitive after a while and I kept having to skim through some parts to get through the rest of the information. I felt that I could relate to Aoife in certain ways, but other than that I didn't really feel connected to any of the other characters. Once we got down to the end of the story and the revealing of the murderer, it felt a bit rushed and predictable in the last couple of chapters but most of the time I had no idea who it was going to be. I also thought it was interesting that it was set in Ireland since I have taken an English class that focused on Ireland and I felt that I could understand the circumstances with the characters and why they handled things the way they did. Overall, this one was a bit different than what I normally read and I would recommend it.

I definitely liked this one better than the first one. There was a lot more action in this one and I loved how we picked up right after the ending of the first one. I also thought that having 2 different POVS was really good as we got to see both Serena's and Daniel's side to the events that occurred in the story. I felt that i could relate to each character and I liked most of them. I found that I was able to predict a few scenes but there were also a lot of twists to the story that i never expected to happen. Overall, I really enjoyed this book as there was a lot more action in it and there were also some scenes that I had not expected to happen. i would definitely recommend this one.

This book took me longer than I thought it would to finish it but it was very good. I loved most of the characters and I was able to relate to them as well. I also loved the action in the story and I loved the ending of the story as well. I loved the plot of the story and the description of the settings where the Giants lived were very well written and I could easily picture where everything was. I also really liked how the book ended on a positive note. This book was definitely one of my favorite books of the year and and I would definitely recommend it.

My review:
I thought this book was pretty good even though it did take me longer to read than i thought it would. I have never read any books from this author before and I wasn't really sure what to expect when I first started it but I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed November rain. I loved the story and characters although there were a few times where I thought it was a little slow but it did pick up once I was able to sit down and read it. I also thought the writing style flowed really well and I really enjoyed the characters although I did get a little confused at first because there were a lot of characters but once I was able to figure out which characters where in each group I did read it a little faster. I loved that we got to hear from both Serena's POV and Daniels POV and read the different perspectives on each situation.
Overall I really enjoyed this book even though it was a little slow at first but I did love all of the characters and the story. I would definitely recommend this one and can't wait to see how the story ends in November snow.
Rating: 4.5/5 stars
I honestly had no idea what I was getting into when I first started this book. I wasn't sure about it at first since it focuses on a difficult subject but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed reading it, I loved most of the characters and could relate to each of them. I also thought it was interesting to hear from each of the character's POV. It did take me longer to finish this one than usually because of school and I also had to read a little bit at a time but I think I enjoyed being able to read a few chapters and then come back to it. One of the things that I didn't like about this book though was the language. I also loved the writing style and definitely look forward to reading more books by this author.
Overall I really enjoyed it even though it was difficult to read sometimes because it focuses on a difficult subject but it was from a different perspective and would definitely recommend this one.

I thought this book was okay, although it is not what I usually read . I liked the characters but didn't really like the language that much although I was able to ignore it. I think I would like to try this genre when I am older but I was glad that I was able to branch out and read from a genre that I have never read from before. I would definitely recommend it to those that love adult romance and don't mind the theme and language.
This book was pretty good but it did take me a long time to get through it. So much stuff happened in this book and it was definitely much darker than the first one so I am really excited about to find out what happens in the third book in this trilogy. Jenny Han is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

This book was pretty good. I have never read a book about giants but the idea is really good and i will probably look into more books about giants. I did not like Lyris, the main character, that much but she did grow a little at the end of the book. Overall I rated this 4 stars and would definitely recommend this book and i can't wait to see what happens next.
