I really enjoyed this book as a Mega-Fan of Halo 3: ODST, for the people who listened or read it that complain about the “cringy” writing/dialogue, I'd suggest replaying that game and maybe you'd also realize that it captures Nathan Fillion's archetypal character very well. Hearing the events of the game from a first person pov was nice as well, but for anyone who played it that section of the book was filler.
Matthieu continues to be a problem for Gulliman while Justinian remains a chad. Mortarian creates unneeded problems while Typhus remains a chad.
Tierion shits his pants and gets annoyed at the Council while Aleya and Valerion GET SHIT DONE.
I lost the book, then when I found it I was already reading other books, I still intend to finish it!
