New Blood

I really enjoyed this book as a Mega-Fan of Halo 3:  ODST, for the people who listened or read it that complain about the “cringy” writing/dialogue, I'd suggest replaying that game and maybe you'd also realize that it captures Nathan Fillion's archetypal character very well. Hearing the events of the game from a first person pov was nice as well, but for anyone who played it that section of the book was filler.

Buck is just the goat I don't know what else to say he's delightful. The writing style was perfect for Buck and turned what would have otherwise been a very straightforward story into a lovely scatterbrained retelling of Buck's entire life and career. This book was charming and fun, which Halo doesn't often get to maintain for that long.
