This was so freaking fun to read. It was a little dark but in such a light way that I wasn’t bothered or left in distress. I had such a great time seeing all these different perspectives not knowing how they were connected and slowly getting piece by piece bringing them all together! I don’t know if I could have guessed the ending at any point of this maybe if I was actively trying but just being along for the journey I didn’t see it coming. If this was made into a show or a movie I think it would do really well, with vibes of “what we do in the shadows” I would probably binge it ><
I would definitely recommend if the synopsis sounds interesting!!

Starting this book I had high hopes, the first book was 5 stars for me and one I think about a good bit of time. Unfortunately I really didn’t care for the continuation of this story. I love the messages so much and believe they are ones to be shared but this plot did not hit for me. And I just couldn’t get into the story at all.
I was having a hard time deciding what to rate it but since I did spend a considerable amount of time thinking about dnfing I had to give it only one star.
If you enjoyed the first book maybe give this one a try maybe skip ><

A friend recommended this to me and oh man this was a fun read! It is definitely dated with the representation the characters have, one lady in all of the code breakers feels inaccurate since women have had a pretty good standing as code breakers since wwii.
Aside from that though it read like a movie and was pretty comical throughout. I would recommend this definitely for people who are interested in coding/ cyber related dramas.

I wasn’t too sure about this at first, but wow, it ended up being so good. I finished it a few hours ago, and now I just feel empty and desperately need more—good thing I already have the next one ready to go, haha!
At the start, the characters really annoyed me, but they definitely grew on me as the story went on. The combat training scenes and the dragon imagery were absolutely incredible. And the ending was an insane twist I wasn’t expecting and I can’t wait to pick the next one ><
This is well worth the hype!

I think one of my favorite tropes is “she thinks they are rivals but he is just in love with her”.
Rating this one was really hard, like I loved the characters the plot and felt giddy the whole time reading it, and I loved everything about the story. But then thinking about how last night I was reading and was like >< I can’t read this anymore, and then it doesn’t feel right for it to go on my favorites shelf. Like I don’t feel obsessive towards the story but also I really freaking enjoyed it and would 10000% read it again!
If you are looking for a fun little story about some high school kids give this one a try!!

This is the last book in the series that I own so after this there will be no more reviews possibly~ unless I decide to get the next ones on Libby I am done here. Which I think this had an ending that I don’t care to continue further as well.
I felt this book was extremely long with a lot of fluff… this definitely could have been two books. The only thing I really enjoyed was more of Feyre and Rhys, and when Feyre is in the spring court. I hated the part with her father, I found that whole thing at the end kinda of meh. The first fighting scene I enjoyed but after that I didn’t care as much.
Over all the series is a 2 maybe a 2.5 ⭐️ rating. The second book is my favorite then this and the first one is my least favorite.

While beautifully illustrated the story didn’t bring to much to the table for me. I didn’t feel connected to the characters and throughout I was only continuing for the illustrations.
I do think the story could be really good for some people, I just wasn’t who this was written for. I do think the art style is spectacular and even though I didn’t enjoy the story the illustrations left me in awe.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and appreciated the unique perspectives from all the characters. While the beginning felt a bit too slow for my taste, the pace improved as the story progressed. My favorite character was Reese—his character offered excellent trans representation and I really enjoyed what he brought to the story. On the other hand, I found Stella to be my least favorite and wish her character had been explored more deeply.
I didn’t rate it higher because I felt certain aspects needed more depth, and the slow start made it hard to connect with the story early on. It wasn’t until the halfway point that I really became invested.
That said, I do think this is a book worth reading, and it’s one I’ll likely reflect on for a while.
