…. Immediately after finishing I am at a lost for words. I kept seeing spoilers and all the fan theory’s so I knew how it ended was just curious as to how we got there. And I don’t feel mad at the journey. I am less mad at the end of this than iron flame which is nice because that one left me not wanting to read more but lol here I am now craving the next one ><

I think my favorite parts of the series is the personalities of the dragons and when we get to see some other perspectives and see how other riders talk to their dragons ~ I really enjoyed and appreciated that! Also the combat was one of my favorite parts of the first book and I got a lot of the same feelings reading this.

The reason I am not giving it 5 ⭐️ is cause I felt less inclined to read this one and the beginning was harder to get through, but I am excited for another book so : )

oh man~ just finishing it idk how to feel…. Like the whole story I loved and enjoyed. The ending makes me feel annoyed but nervous >< annoyed I suppose in a good way. Definitely left me needing to start onyx storm right away.

I can see why people didn’t enjoy it as much as the first but I had fun with it still and was laughing and sobbing through out so in my opinion it’s worth continuing after the first !!

Firstly I am so proud of Dani for publishing and creating this beautiful amazing story >< and I am grateful that I got to read the Arc.

Following these two lovely characters and seeing them go through their ups and downs was so magical, and the ending felt extremely satisfying. Throughout the story i had an amazing time laughing at the banter between the two and especially the younger sister >< I think she might be my favorite 0.o

This book had me in all the feels in all the best ways possible.

If you like romance or are even interested in giving it a try please please please read this book<3

I can’t say I really liked this book but I also didn’t hate it. I think this is extremely character driven which is nice and all but I think for me as a reader I enjoy more imagery in stories like these. I am definitely more into a first person account experiencing the fantasy world, getting it from like third person feels less interesting.

Another big factor was I didn’t care at all about what was happening until like 30% and even then I felt uninterested in reading more the entire time. I thought the plot was good and the characters good but that’s kinda it. Like this book just didn’t hit.

I can definitely see why people like it though. I won’t be continuing with the series nor will I buy another Sanderson book~ he is not an author I wish to support. If it weren’t for this being my book club book I wouldn’t have read it.

This was almost a 3 but the ending really really ruined it for me. Over all though it felt kinda meh, I didn’t really find anything that stood out for me. Like it started with so much potential but the plot felt rushed and nothing I cared to much about.

One day I will learn just because there are witches / magic doesn’t mean I will enjoy the story 😔 until then I will take any book that has even a hint of witch like characters 0.o ~ this is me begging for witchy recs ><

I probably wouldn’t recommend this, but if you like cheesy smut with not to thrilling plot maybe give it a try ><
