I liked the quirkiness of the characters in this book, but it just felt like it didn't go anywhere and that nothing really happened. I'm still going to give Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstances a try though
Loved this epic western. The author does a great job of making the characters feel alive. That being said, it was just too long, definitely could have been a little shorter. Multiple times I found myself having to go back because my mind would drift.

What a sweet well written imaginative story. Magical realism done well. Found family, cozy, quirky, unique, whimsical!
To be entirely fair, I'm not the best audience for this book. I typically avoid romance novels, but I occasionally pick one up on a recommendation and have found a few I love. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. I found it unrealistic and really disliked the dialogue
Kept me guessing. Every time I thought I knew what was happening, there would be a twist I didn't see coming
