I honestly had fun with this; I thought the second half was the best. The romance does feel a tad forced, but I liked them together. I mean it does have vampires, and I love reading about vampires, especially if it's queer.

This is probably one of the best books I've read since One of Us Is Lying, and a lot of the Tokyo Ghoul series. This was amazing and made me fucking cry. I love all of the characters we follow, and it just fills you with sadness but also rage. Who wouldn't feel outraged to know these things can actually happen, HAVE actually happened. Just because COVID just so happened to start in China. Yifei was definitely my favorite character, I loved how she was written. Cora was a very interesting one, and Harvey...while he made me mad sometimes, I really enjoyed his character too. <spoiler>Though I won't forgive you Kylie Lee Baker, for killing them off in such awful ways.</spoiler> Easy five star, I loved this on a deep level. <spoiler>The ghosts at the end helping her was just so...tear jerking. Like they pull her away from the flames, so she didn't get burned. It was so liberating, but heartbreaking at the same time. I also liked the last chapter, and the end...the ghosts aren't really gone</spoiler>

I don't care, this is a 5 star. I loved this so much, I mean...I'm a huge Scream fan, but I'm also a big Scre4m stan too. And this book reminds me more of the 4th one, rather than the first one. I do agree the romance was a bit insta lovey...but isn't that kind of accurate to horror slashers? I love the characters, Nadia was definitely my favorite. CJ's mom was a badass, and I love the romance, even if it was pretty insta lovey. I love slashers, Scream, and a fun time...this was all of that.

I really enjoyed this, I honestly think the episode did it justice. The Haunted Mask was one of my favorite episode, and it's now one of my favorite books out of all the Goosebumps books. It was also pretty unsettling, especially for a kids book.
1. Night of the Living Dummy II
2. Night of the Living Dummy
3. The Haunted Mask
4. Welcome to Dead House
5. Vampire Breath
6. Stay Out of the Basement
7. Night of the Living Dummy III

Read 40 books by December 31, 2025

Really weird, and boring. I like the first few stories, but then it got incredibly boring. And the stories that I liked were pretty short and the boring ones were so long for some reason. The Head and The Embodiment were my favorites, and I wanted the book to lean in on the weird and/or body horror. I liked some of it, but it's kind of disappointed me.

It's alright, defiantly the worst out of the Slappy ones so far. Mostly because I thought the kids were incredibly annoying, and I mean...if my kids were crying about a dummy, I wouldn't yell at them, unlike what this dad did. I actually liked the ending, it was pretty good and probably the best part of the book.

Still the best Goosebumps story so far, we'll see if that changes. I really liked the writing in this, and unlike what I've heard and read about the stupid fat "joke" in this it's actually seen as cruel, so it definitely shows that at least "fat jokes" aren't necessarily funny, even in the 90s. I love Slappy as a villain, in the books, in the show, and even in the movies. The new shows I haven't gotten that far in sadly.

For a first Stephen King book for me to read, this was that bad. I do like the way it's written, and I don't mind how Darcy is portrayed. There are a few parts that made me want to gag to be honest, and I think King did a good job making her husband very unlikable and just disgusting. Pretty solid book.

I don't know, I think this was fine. The art style isn't my favorite, and the subtle (if it's even subtle) fatphobia isn't cute. I do like the baking things, but that's really it.
1. <b>Tokyo Aliens</b>
2. <u>Cherry Magic</u>
3. <u>My Love Mix-Up!</u>
4. Kaiju No. 8
5. Kakegurui
6. Call of the Night
7. Mobsters in Love
8. Future Diary
9. <s>Confessions of a Shy Baker</s>
10. <s>SINoALICE</s>

I loved this. The art is so good, and I'm enjoying the characters. It's hooked me in, and I love that. The look of the Hakugin was really cool. And is it just me or is it a bit...gay?

This is pretty cool, I like the artwork. It's up there in my favorite art style of manga. When he becomes a Kaiju, he looks so sick, that's look is the coolest thing ever to be honest. It's second to what Kaneki looks like in the final ghoul form. But yeah, this was pretty good.

Kind of problematic, but it's entertaining. It's a bit uncomfortable that minor/adult relationships are in this, Wren and Spencer, Ian and Spencer, Aria and Ezra, it's just weird. Hanna's father is worse in this, and I'm so glad they changed Pam, Emily's mother in the show...kind of. I wished they changed more things, such as Aria and Ezra and all of Spencer in S1. The talk of ED is fine, maybe not the best though. What is entertaining is how just plain awful these girls can be, and I can't wait to continue

I finally finish this after almost 2 years, I didn't necessarily stop listening because it was bad, I just wanted to read other things. I do like this; I think it I was just in a crying mood, I guess. It was better than I expected to be honest, since I haven't read a book that's set in this time explicitly. But I do think was good, the main character got on my nerves a bit, but I guess I'm just a British hater (for legal reasons, this is a joke)

Oh my God, this was so good. It was so beautiful, the descriptions of things made me feel like I was actually in the world, I also cried in the last chapters. My favorite character is probably Zhen, I think I kind of felt my own personality within him, and even with Xian. It was so funny, endearing, and heartbreaking...but I loved every second of it

I couldn't find the first Villain and the Geek, so I'm going to review both until the first one is added. I liked this, it's honestly kind of sad, yet kind of relatable in a way. Devons insecurities were honestly kind of heartbreaking. Feeling as though he wasn't enough, that he was defective...dude, how is that the saddest thing I ever heard? I feel for Devon, and I was just kind of screaming in my head at Constantine to just grow up and talk to Devon. I liked when they finally did it, but I have a feeling something is going to happen...so yay, can't wait
Probably sadder than the last book, jeez. I liked this one a little better, and I think Constantine proved himself, and I do like his character more. I hope when the next book comes out, he doesn't try to kill anyone...but I will have my hopes high. It's sad these characters are coming to an end, since I was heavily invested. I'm glad Devon finally stood up to him, not wanting to take his bullshit again, I do love that it was resolved in a quick yet reasonable manner. I enjoyed this series and can't wait for the last book to come out...hopefully it's a bit longer.

Bro and the Beast 5
What an amazing finale, I love the way Brad just accepts that this is his life now, even if he regrets some of them. I love his protection over Devon, but also the fact he lets him live his life. And I can't wait to read about Devon and Constantine, I feel like that's going to be real interesting. But I'm pleasantly surprised on how much I loved these books.

Bro and the Beast 4
This was so good, I knew that Catalina was going to be a problem, thankfully not for long. I actually like Constantine as a villain, I think he's going to go after Devon, and especially since I know there are two books about them. I was sad that Catalina is still alive, but I can't ask for too much. I love this one the best, it's so funny...and filled with likeable characters (and characters we love to hate). I never expected to be this invested, but I really am

Bro and the Beast 3
I freaking love this, I cried...bro, tell me why I cried? I never expected that to happen, they are just down bad for each other, but I do need Brad to admit he's at least bi. The ending has me worried, because I don't want Catalina to replace Brad again, even though she is the original, but I digress. And I can't wait to see more of Constantine, I do really love that this author actually puts plot...the bare minimum but sometimes smut authors don't even do that. And it helps I like the plot, and the characters, Brad is getting more likable. I can't wait to find out more

Bro and the Beast 2
I loved this, I love them so much. I hope Brad comes to terms with his feelings, and I swear...I hope he gets back to him; I can't handle it if they aren't endgame. Honestly, I'm glad these books (so far) aren't just smut filled, but actually has a story, and gives the characters depth, so I admire that.

Bro and the Beast 1
I really liked this. It's funny and I like the characters, even Brad. Honestly, I usually stay away from books with covers like this, even if it's queer, but it's free with Kindle Unlimited so I just bit the bullet. And I love that I did. Only reason it's 3.5 is because of Brad, he's just annoying in some parts, mostly his dialog and "bro"s ever other sentence. But other than that, I really enjoyed it

This was pretty good; I personally liked the pacing, and I think the characters were interesting. It was predictable after a bit, because I thought about how the character acted, but it didn't ruin it for me. I do understand why it has mixed reviews, it's definitely for specific people, and that's alright. I liked how simple it was, but it did pack a punch, at least for me.
