This book is incredibly poetic, however, the poignant mood seemed to be dulled by how boring it is. Certain parts of the book could have be written with less words, with still the marvel of language.
I loved reading this book. Everything is so whimsical and I enjoyed seeing the dynamic of the trio: Ron, Hermione, and Harry. The plot twists were incredibly hidden and the surprise at the end is unforgettable.
I love this book.
The ending? It was so sudden. I hate world-building and Esther travelled a lot. The mood throughout the book was so grim, gloomy, and melancholic like. Also what did the maths teacher do to Esther lol. Boring at times.
Might be my favourite Harry Potter book as my ..... had said to me was his. I was crying, smiling, and gawking at the ending. I don't even know what I just witnessed. Great book. I was indulged in the storyline.
The book is so intriguing, emotional, angering, and heat warming. It's so well written, the pacing is well done and the quality of the writing keeps you reading. The character development is outstanding, however, the story building was very slow.
I love the ending. The book gradually started to get predictable though. I loved the series and Pip.
The first half was extraordinarily boring. To be fair this is my first classic in a while. The ending was satisfying. The book was filled with philosophical quotes that dives deep into mortality and beauty, however, I did not understand any of them. I could not get past the first few pages and it took me months to finish. Dorian's annoying.
I hate world-building. Due to the plot and nature of this book, there was a plethora of world-building. The ending wasn't satisfying and the plot, moral, and ending was very predictable. I had high hopes for this book. The imagery and descriptions were amazing. It almost seemed as if you were reading through the eyes of Nora Seed vicariously.
I love it!!!! The plot is so simple but the book makes up for it with the depth belonging to each character. The characters were well written and were analysed so thoroughly. Made me realise the simplicity of daily life while also learning the complexity of what it takes to be human.
For some reason this book impacted me more than the first one. I believe the reason is because of how heart-breaking Stanley's story is, and how because of it he was betrayed, and condemned to a perpetually anonymous life. Even after death he's still threatened and disrespected for something he helped in at the young age of 1o. He didn't have a choice for all he had was his father. The Child Brunswick plot was so interesting. A person no one knows the true identity of, he could have walked past you before– you'd never know. Finally, the suspense of whether Jamie was still alive was surreal. Everything kept unravelling like Pandora's box and it all was connected; one thing led to another.
The ending was rushed and left the book's loose ends unexplained. The only thing this book has is a great relationship: the one between Trip and Brynn. It was so natural; they were meant for each other.
“All sizzle but no steak.”
This was hyped up way too much. The Story's secret was suspenseful but when it was revealed, boring and predictable/cliche. Milly and Jonah's love story seemed forced.
Bro! I mean.......the ending didn't really feel like a climax. It felt as if they were just giving information right and left. It's probably just me because it definitely had all elements of a climax. Also, kinda boring from the start and the end, the end wasn't shocking. That's probably because Mr Lupid was a new character and I hadn't grown fond of him yet. I thought that the boringness of the start & middle would culminate to a epic climax but it was disappointing
Honestly, the characters weren't remarkable or special. I enjoyed this way more than I should have lol. Incredibly cheesy and cliche.
This book is entertaining. The biggest thing I'll miss the most are the characters (Jason and Sunil). The book is so human; I've grown fond of all the characters. However, in a situation I believe that Pip had the right to be angry, and was misunderstood. It could've been dissolved if she tried to understand Georgia and Rooney
I like the book a lot. But we were suddenly put into the story so abruptly. Often, when a character would be speaking, I had no idea who they were. The ending was spine-chilling, perfect for such a dark book.
Did not enjoy this as much as I thought I would, dude would probably be an incel in todays society TICKing me off
Certain parts were great but the book failed to keep me interested. I wish there was more development and information on Rufus. Despite it all, the ending perfect and abrupt– very fitting for the character's.
The book is an extreme page turner. However, the genre and themes simply are not within my taste. Nonetheless, a good book; a great series that many readers remember from their childhood.
