“Live your life with an overwhelming sense that God is present in the details all around you.”

Well, I finished it... My review and rating will wait until I meet with my book club.

Wow!
From Marv: Heaven is just love, plain and pure, something for us to enjoy forever and ever and ever!

Do not care to continue reading this story. I think it's supposed to be funny, but the characters are just too annoying for me.

More of an account of the author's life and her beliefs than her NDE.

Unger's story-lines aren't perfect, but I like The Hollows and the main character Jones Cooper. If Hoover's and McFadden's books can rate 4 stars, then so shall Unger's Hollow series!

I really liked the first book in the series and the main character Frankie. However, this one not so much. The writing is too choppy for me. It's written in 1st person narrative and it just seems like I'm reading a bunch of rambling thoughts.

Well written, interesting characters, just went on and on a bit. Wish it was more about the character and her life as a medicine woman rather than working for a traveling “circus.”

What a gift it must be to weave a story together so beautifully. This story is fiction, but I didn't realize it until the end that this novel is based on the real life of the amazing midwife Martha Ballard.

Such a silly little story with an important message about life.

Read at your own risk! A very twisted and macabre story! It was a uniquely crafted story that had me glued from beginning to end.

I enjoy time travel stories, and this one tied to historical fiction did not disappoint. Loved how everything came together in the end! Now, I need to read the 2nd book to see what happens next!

Very different, certainly makes you think about death and trying to live life to the fullest.

Soooo good! Deliciously deceiving! Okay, so maybe a senator elect wouldn't have been that stupid, but I didn't care!

I felt like I was in High School! And that's not a good thing.

3 stars if I think too much about the improbability of the events and the gaps in how certain things happened- 4 stars for a thriller that was still hard to put down. I like the main character Josie and will give Regan's other books a try.

A page turner for sure, and a lot of surprises, some of which I saw coming and others shocked me. But, I have a hard time with the ridiculous dialogue, hence the 3 stars.

“I once read that whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.”
Well, I'm sure many doors were opened to allow that light in all because of this beautiful story.

Good, fast paced story with what I love- remption and forgiveness. Not Hoover's typical “twisted” story.

Sad...disturbing... can't believe I read it...hard to rate...it was 0 stars, yet at the same time a 3-4...

Love the dynamics between Will and Sarah! A good, suspenseful plot as always with Karin Slaughter. As usual, full of twisted, disturbing characters with Sarah and Will trying to “save the world.” My heart broke for Mercy over and over again.
