I tried for quite a while to get through this book. I loved a few parts that were about reliving your past lives. I have a hard time following the Wiccan aspects. I believe in some parts such as the spirit of the earth, but i struggle with the occult and tarot card reading parts. I was just either too uncomfortable with it or board with it so I gave up on maybe I'll try it again some other time
This is a very long and complex story. It's very creative and original. I think Sanderson's writing improves from here.
Short, sweet story. This is a fun children's lit book set in London during the Elizabethan age.
I really love these books. This one was a little hard as a child is mortally injured and its hard for me to read about
I liked the twists in the plot of this book. However the romance parts make me gag. I've enjoyed these books but so far I like the “clockwork Angel” books better.

I have complex feelings about this book.
Pros: Excellent writing, and world building. Good science discussion for it's time. I found the desire to have a pet, and the scarcity both funny and sad.
Cons: I didn't find the characters very likeable.
(Rant) The sci-fi trope of men wanting to have sex with android women is just disturbing to me...
Interesting ideas. I'm stuck on why we resist using checklists. How do we avoid making them mindless and remain alert when using them?
Interesting story and for living in such a controlled world the characters perspectives are written in such a beautiful poetic way. I was very turned off may the use of “we” instead of “I”
I really enjoyed this book. The story line reminds me of Labyrinth with David Bowe. I loved the twist on faerie lore.
I really enjoyed this book I learned so much. There were a few parts where I had trouble sticking with it. I'm hoping to retain some of the good quotes I've collected from this great book.
I really enjoyed this book. It is so easy to identify with the characters. The story line is not dramatic but it is meaningful and represents potentially real challenges.
This was a great book. I had some trouble sticking with it because it had a little too much romance in it for me, but overall I liked it I can't wait until I start the next one.
I really wanted to like this book, but I just felt like I was trudging through mud to get through it. It got to the point that I was just continuing so I could be done with it. I really think what these men did was amazing and wonderful, but I got lost in the names of paintings and historical sites. I think if you were really into art and knew the history and importance of these works it would be a lot more interesting.

I had a really hard time getting through this one. I love dogs, I usually love stories about them. This book had some very interesting part. It skipped around so much I had a hard time keeping track of the order of events. It would go into the authors present day into the childhood and back again about different subjects associated with his dog with issues. It was sad in the end and I found myself just waiting for the book to be over. I haven't given up on Jon Katz books he seems to know a lot about dogs and I hope I can learn some great stuff from his other books. I guess one overall theme of the book was that owners have to take responsibility for their dogs and their behaviors.
Wow this book blew my mind. In some ways it gives me hope for kids... but on the other hand it just shows we have no idea how to help kids. The helpless feeling makes me feel kind of sad, but it still helpful.
Easy fun read! I loved it I totally identified with the main character. I felt this is a great book for teenage girls struggling for acceptance.
The story line was fairly good. The romance scenes made me feel like vomiting, they were just sappy. The ending was a little anticlimactic. I have not decided if it's worth it to try the others in the series.
This is sort of “Groundhog's Day” meets “Thirteen Reason's Why. “ It follows some of the “ Mean Girls” at school and the change of heart one of them experiences following a car crash. I found some of the mean girl behavior disturbingly accurate and it's a painful story at some points. The ending not quite what I expected but still got it's point across.
I absolutely love this book! It is so full of inspiring quotes and great ideas. I really want to launch a happiness project!

I can see how this book would really appeal to several readers. It's nice mysterious romance book for young adults.
For me however, it was painful. The characters really lack depth and aren't easy love, with the exception of Vee Sky who has a lot of interesting and charming characteristics. The romance is painful and way too intense for the fluffiness of the rest of the book. There is a lot of losing random cellphones to make the plot work and it just seemed like it was trying too hard.
