This is a must read book. It is great that some light is shed on this dark time. I must confess that this book really made me feel so depressed. I don't feel bad about that. I just think I'm sensitive to the plight of what others may have gone through.
I didn't like this book as much as I liked the Iron King. The beginning and end were great the stuff in-between seemed to be a little long winded and unimportant to the story.
I loved this one I have enjoyed every johnathan stroud book I've read. It was hard to do normal everyday thing due to how captivating this book is.
I loved this story it reminds me of the “Uglies” series or “The Giver” By Lois Lowry. I felt very frustrated for the characters and their situation but the ending give us a lot of hop.
I couldn't put it down. This book opens our eyes wide and shows us how others live and over come trials.
I really enjoyed this book. It was not as good as I thought it would be. I had heard a lot of good reviews and I think I hyped it up in my mind. It was still a good read, a nice fun story. It was a little long but overall I'd recommend it to most anyone who likes fiction.
This was a fun quick read. Such a fun story about this amazing family and such cool parents. It's much better than the movies I've seen adapted from it.
I learned so much from this book and it was fascinating imagine how all the convinces of my home came to be. So parts were a little dry, but overall I'm glad I came across this book.
It was fun to read a book about Pern. I read this out of order. this is not one of my favorite dragonrider books. I don't think Todd McCaffrey understands how women think.
I honestly couldn't wait for the book to end. I just dragged on about the impending doom of Pern and about how everyone should love each other and never be jealous. There was too much sex and the liberties with the sex were too much for me.
I usually love books about Pern... but not this one.
Loved this one it was a little different than the authors usual plot in most of his other books.
I couldn't stop thinking about this story I got totally obsessed with it. It's a great heart melting story.
I regret it took me so long to read this book. I did struggle to connect with the story in the beginning, but once I got attached to the characters I was hooked. The wold-building is amazing and the complex magic is so interesting. I'm excited about starting the next book...hopefully it arrives tomorrow.
Another excellent fablehaven adventure. I would recommend it to anyone who likes good clean fun.
I love the heroine in this book, she has spunk. She's the kind of person I wanted to be like when I grew up... minus the supernatural powers.
This is a fun story and some interesting characters. The plot is a little weak and contrived, but still fun.
I like this book better than the mortal instruments series. It was interesting and complex but some of the details get a bit gory.
This was a pretty good book. It was easy to follow and kept my attention. There are some violent scenes that could be disturbing. Overall it's a story about survival and standing by your friends and the people who love you.
A delightful and brave female lead. It's wonderful to imagine mysteries in other countries.
I loved this book. Its a little more serious than the Percy Jackson series. It got me curious about ancient Egyptian times and I had to so some investigating on Wikipedia. It does seem Rick Riordan does his research, because a lot of the Egyptian characters seem to be based on actually Egyptian legends/stories.
Good typical Stephanie plum novel. Hilarious and full of adventure. It has some foul language so if that offends you then I'd steer clear of this one.
It took me a little bit to get into this story but once I bonded with characters and began to understand the magic system I was sucked in. I love the world building in this story. The plot is so much fun!
I loved this book. It made me laugh and even cry just a little bit. I'm not Native American but I've lived among them at times and as far as I can see it's very close to their current struggles.
The only thing that was hard for me was the language. This book has some pretty bad slang (by my standards anyway) but it's written from the perspective of a teenage boy. And I was a teenage girl not a boy so I don't know if this is really how they think and talk. Anyway the slang was too graphic for me.
A terrifying retelling of Fairytales. Morbid yet creative. I would would have had nightmares if these were the tales I'd been told as a child.
