You may have snot running down your face while ugly crying at parts of this book, but it will be worth it.
“The most important words a man can say” are a perfect summation of the journey Dalinar Kholin has taken through the series as a whole. Take your next step, read this series. I only hope it touches a deep part of your spirit the way it did mine.
4.3/5: A lighthearted, whimsical “fairytale” of sorts that grew in depth with the main character. I was quite fascinated with this approach at storytelling.
Decent story. Decent slow build romance, but too much focus on the sex and thoughts about wanting sex that really just detracted from the story and severely slowed the pacing. Character building could use some work as well. World building...you're only told what's relevant to the story. No lore, no deep history, no religions. Does it serve the plot? No? Cut it to make room for the sex.
The story could easily make this a 4-5-star book for me, but pornographic literature is what is selling right now. It's just not for me.
