Wreckage

so I picked this up as a kindle first through amazon prime. I thought the cover was interesting so I decided to give it a chance. I was oddly surprised that I had a love hate relationship with this book. I would have gutted Kent Myself if I was Lillian but You have to read more of the story to get what I mean. the ending was awesome will be looking for more by this author.

it was a hard morning and afternoon and I browsed through three didferent books, none appealing tome, till I got to this Kindle first title. The narrative is good and well timed, the voice intersting, the premise (media vultures, survival, adaptation) great. I finished in three hours. That said, mosr characters could use a bit more depth (Kent, Jerry,the kids, Beth), Paul's demise was sudden and very poorly explained (starvation or a snake bite might have been easier than SDS), and the abrupt ending is a disservice to the book.

loved this book except for the constant point of view changes. There were so many and it would sometimes take me a minute to figure out who was talking.
